Super Chix - Strawberry Hill — Restaurant in Charlotte

Super Chix comes to Strawberry Hill and it’s a welcome addition to the area. We attended the soft opening for friends and family today and you wouldn’t have known it was their first day in action. The location is easy to find next to Orvis. Plenty of parking on a Saturday afternoon.

Ever have a chicken tender hidden somewhere in a thick coating of breading? Yeah? Well, this is not that. Instead, the tenders are crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. Our food was spot on and came out piping hot and fast. We ordered the five piece tenders with fries and could barely finish the portions. Tenders were huge and the large fries come in a portion generous enough for two. If you love fried pickles, give theirs a try. They were thinly coated and a little sweet. They have frozen custard with a rotating special flavor; right now it’s key lime pie. Super creamy and a reasonable size considering we all want “just a taste”.

All the employees we encountered were polite and friendly. Better service than I’ve encountered in many sit down Charlotte area restaurants. Wishing them nothing but success. Great to see the owners on site and proud of another...

Basic, clean, quick service spot for chicken items - 4 stars

Tenders - the only thing you should get here. Plump, juicy, and delicious. 5 out of 5.

Sauces - all mediocre. Ranch isn't even refrigerated, and very watery. It's from a pump! Eww. Honey mustard is very sweet without much mustard flavor. Buffalo is the best. Bbqs are standard. No blue cheese is a fail. 3 stars.

Grilled chicken sandwich - looking for something healthy? This is a better choice than the fried, but the chicken is soooooo thin. I liked the flavor and the fresh veggies, but the chicken to everything else ratio is very poor. Not worth it. - 2 stars

Fried chicken sandwich - a little thicker thanks to the breading, but they say "Texas sized" and it isn't (unless Texas means wide, flat, and thin chicken breast). It's like a diet fried chicken sandwich, and yup, that's what I want when I eat a fried chicken sandwich! Lol. - 3 stars

Fries - pass, nothing special. Don't need the extra calories from...

Amazing Chicken and very well staffed. Happy to have a place on this side of town that serves fresh hot chicken of many varieties and flavors. The menu has many options and best part is they are open until 9pm every day of the week. The food comes hot and fresh no matter if you order take out or dine in.

It was so good I came back the next day for more. The chicken tenders are amazing, sandwiches are too and the fries are incredible.

I love that they have a station that is self serve for dipping sauces and drinks to make getting what you want much easier.

It is super clean inside and lot of of space so you don’t feel cramped up when eating.

Loved the chocolate custard and I would have basically anything on the menu here! Happy to have it...
