Vaulted Oak Brewing — Restaurant in Charlotte

Went with here last Friday afternoon with the office team for happy hour for to coworkers that were leaving. Great location. Aweome patio seating. Nice that you can bring your kids and dogs. However these are the bummers:

1. I know it's a brewery but they didn't have much of a selection of beer nor wine options and no liquor.
2. They don't serve food! They have a food truck that comes but I don't know if that's every day or different one each time for that matter. The one there that particular friday...the servers was great but again their menu options were horrible and the food was lackluster (never had texmex that didn't have salsa nor sourcream available and the prices were terrible too considering what you get) They have an Italian menu posted on the wall that looked promising and you can have your order delivered; it's located across the street hopefully delivery time is reasonable.
3. And finally the price/drinks themselves. If you ask, theywill let you sample the beer. However disappointed in the prices...especially for the amount you get. Not really beer drinker so I ordered a sangria with light ice. It was ok...it was served in very small stem less glass but because I said light ice, it was barely filled half way??!! Not cool 🤯😵‍💫😕😖☹️. Doubt I'll ever go back. This is my first time ever leaving a bad review for anybody. So it's a no go for me. It seems Charlotte is the king of breweries now...they're popping up everywhere. Hopefully I'll have a better experiencethe next time I go to one. Competition is fierce so please step your game...

Loved Vaulted Oak Brewing in Charlotte NC. It’s right across the street from Sals pizza so you can order from there if you want. They also have food trucks in rotation. There was the Say Cheese truck when we were there. They had all different tater tots and grilled cheeses and mac & cheese. Vaulted Oak also has some of the best beers in Charlotte. I love that they have one or two Gose’s on tap at all times. I had one that was a collaboration with edge city. They also had a pineapple gose. The staff are also super friendly. There were a ton of children there (my only negative) and it is super dog friendly so I would definitely bring my dogs next time. I love that they have wine and other options besides beer. Will...

Okay so yes the beer is fantastic and never disappoints, but I want to address the details you may not notice right away because these are the things that show meaning and a welcoming place. We brought our 2 golden retrievers and right away we were offered a dog bowl, from the mountain of dog bowls they have, a pitcher full of fresh water, dog treats and even poop bags just in case. Then I walk into the women’s bathroom and there was a nice changing table, even with baby wipes. Outdoor seating, N64, handful of parking, friendly staff… where do I stop? This place has community and is the thoughtful place I want to be! Thank you for being a place so welcoming...
