Today, my husband and I placed separate orders using the Wendy’s app. When I arrived at the drive-through, I informed the staff through the intercom that I had two orders, one under my husband’s name and the other under my name. The staff member told me he only saw the order under my name and asked me to proceed to the pick-up window.
Upon reaching the window, I received the order under my name and showed the staff the order confirmation for my husband’s order. Despite presenting the receipt, which clearly showed the correct name, order number, and the store’s address, he insisted that his system did not have the order and asked me to contact Wendy’s corporate. I replied, “The receipt has all the correct information. You’re asking me to contact Wendy’s, but I’m at Wendy’s now.” The staff responded, “I can do nothing.” When I asked if I can speak to the manager, he confirmed, “I am the manager. Have a nice day,” and abruptly closed the window.
I was shocked and appalled by his dismissive and unprofessional behavior. This level of customer service is unacceptable, especially from someone in a managerial position. It is deeply concerning that a manager would show such a lack of willingness to assist a customer and resolve an issue, opting instead to ignore my valid concerns and close the window on me.
Due to my tight schedule – I needed to pick up my children and take them to sports practice – I couldn’t afford to reorder and wait again. While I contacted my husband to verify the order, I noticed through my rearview mirror that the manager continued to serve other customers without addressing my issue, which left me feeling ignored, devalued, and disheartened.
Eventually, I decided to park and enter the restaurant to ask for the manager’s name. When I approached him at the counter, I requested his name, stating, “Sir, may I have your name? Since you asked me to contact customer service, I need your name.” Unfortunately, he ignored me in front of all the staff and customers. At that moment, a female employee, who was about to leave, kindly offered to help. She confirmed the manager’s name was David.
This is not the first time I have had an unpleasant experience at this location. I have encountered several issues in the past, which have not been addressed satisfactorily. This ongoing pattern of poor service has been extremely frustrating and...
Read moreThe only way to describe this Wendy's is ghetto! I am a person that tries his best to be as polite as possible when I get to a drive thru. The type of person that will apologize for not saying good morning, good afternoon, or good evening. My parents raised me to have manners, so please understand my confusion when I tell you this staff was so rude to me without a reason!! After placing my order I thanked the woman at the window because she saw me in my car mouthing no ice and I apologized for not saying it earlier. I paid for my order and waited. When I got my food I checked it right in front of her and told her I was missing a fries. Also showed her the medium fries and told her I paid extra for a medium fries but there are BARELY any fries in the container. I asked if she didn't mind could she please fill it up. Someone came to the window with an attitude saying they didn't need my whole bag with an attitude and took the fries to the back. While the window was open my fiance and I heard all the rude things they were saying about us. It was really inappropriate. Then when she came to the window I explained to the woman we were missing fries that's why I was trying to give you the bag in case you didn't believe me. She snatched the bag from me and went to the back and we heard the other employees saying we tried to steal some fries because they know for a fact they put in two medium fries and when she came back the second set of fries was less fries than the first time I complained. At this point either they were being petty or just wanted a reaction, and then when I complained I heard the woman in back saying that's too bad we don't fill up fries what does he think this is? I think this is Wendy's if I'm not mistaken. Like, is it my fault you chose this as a career? Is it my fault "Wendy's don't pay you enough to deal with this?" I wish I had a picture of the fries because anybody would've complained. Normally I would go about my business and it's not that serious because this started over some fries but this was by far the worst experience I've ever had at a drive thru in my life! She came to the window and rolled her eyes and took the fries and threw at a wall. Had the employees stare out the window and point at us. I was embarrassed for them. Honestly... They acted like the fries was coming out their...
Read moreThis is by far the worst fast food spot I've been to in my life. I ordered food via the drive-thru, and as I approached the restaurant, 2/staff members were sitting outside the front of the restaurant talking... 1st sign.
2nd sign.... 2 cars were waiting in the drive-thru to place their order, and they drove off because it was taking forever to talk to someone, even to make an order...
3rd sign... I placed my order, and after I paid, they asked me to pull up to the front door and wait for food. Not a big deal; it's a common practice nowadays... I sat in my car for literally 15min before I got annoyed and went inside... Once inside, the customer service was horrible, and I had to wait another 15 minutes for my food... the fact that it took me 30 minutes to get my one cheeseburger, one chicken sandwich I fried, and one four-piece nugget is disgusting ... Horrible customer service...and not fast food. And the food was horrible... The burger was overdone and the nuggets were overcooked... C'mon now!
While I was waiting there, people were coming in late, and they were messing up other people's orders who ordered inside... staff continued joking around, playing, and not working... after they got part of my order done, the girl in the picture just handed me my food and walked away with an attitude..... When I got to the car, I realized they had forgotten the four-piece nuggets.... so I walked back and told her my biggest were missing... 2 people were next to the nugget tray, but nobody made them. After asking again and laughing about it, she decided to stop playing and MAKE MY 4 piece nuggets... I walked off highly pissed...... The crazy thing is I wrote this entire review while standing at the counter waiting for my food. I can't wait until the robots come and replace these lazy workers with horrible customer service... ..Wendy's corporate will have to answer for...
