MOLD, STICKY dirty FLOORS, and BURNT FOOD , SOGGY LETTUCE and An UPSET STOMACH ——-yep this is what you can expect- at least at 1130 on a Sunday. The moment you walk inside take a look above you at the AC rectangle vent (there are two ) yes this is black mold you will see covering it. Being a mechanical contractor myself - if there is mold on the outside - then the entire system is full of it. Wow does the health department know about this ? Maybe I’ll call them. Black mold is a serious health concern. Moving past this , as you walk into the dining area ( once the hostess finally gets around to assisting you as she’s definitely not been trained in the art of efficiency ) your feet will be greeted with some sticky residue and you will notice the floor also hasn’t been swept. Why I stayed I don’t even know. Then I ordered my food - was I really thinking it would be much better ? Hamburger with an absolutely black burnt inner top half of the bun - yep send it back oh this was after I sent the heavily vinegar flavored chicken wings. My wife ordered the steak soggy salad - yes don’t expect anything fresh and crisp here - one you will get a salad covered with sauce and literally soggy salad not fresh. My daugter had the fish and chips - heavily battered and greasy. Then once having left my daugter and I both had severe stomach cramping for most of the day - and diarrhea. So was it the mold ? The dirty floors ? The lack of being clean ? Or all of the above and bad food that got us sick ? I think it’s all of the above. Yes I think I will call the...

If I could rate this restaurant ZERO stars I would do it! This was my first time at this place and I couldn't be more disappointed by the lack of service and the rudeness of his manager. Food is not really good and it took forever. We were 2 parties of 5 each. we had reservations and we called ahead to make sure our tables were outside. When we got there, they said if we wanted outside we had to wait about 1 hour. Which ended up not being true. Since half of our party was sat on the shade and half on the sun, we moved our small tables to the shade completely aligned with the ones already there, making sure it wasn't obstructing or causing any problems. After moving to the shade, the manager passed by us while taking food to other tables and treated us in a very rude snd disrespectful way. Instead of coming to our table and work with us with the issue we had, he just yelled at us saying "YOU HAVE TO MOVE THE TABLES BACK!! YOU CAN'T DO THAT!!!" We honestly felt very mistreated and disrespected. We are never coming back. I didn't leave because the other restaurant was closed for a wedding and my kids were hungry. We had to be separated from the rest of the family and the wait for food was awful!!! After the rest of my family stayed outside, some new customers came in and I saw the manager moving umbrellas for them and my family was 100% ignored by him. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND this place at all. Go and visit the coffee shop close by which has a...

I've been to Serenbe before but never tried this restaurant. When I first walked in, I was greeted, and the decor was nice. The entire ambiance was set for an enjoyable evening if you were planning to stay and eat. I ended up getting take out, and I really loved that they knew who I was before I even said anything about coming to pick up my order! They addressed me by name before handing me over the bill to sign! Excellent customer service.

I ordered the deviled eggs, salad with champagne dressing, grilled salmon, collard greens, and horseradish mashed potatoes. As the ingredients come from the farm, you could taste how fresh everything was! However, I found the deviled eggs had too much mustard in them, and the champagne dressing had too much acid for my tasting. If these 2 components were minimized, both of these dishes would have been perfect. I thought the salmon was cooked perfectly, but I wanted it rare and was expecting more of this to show in the meat. I felt it was cooked medium or medium rare, so this was my only ding. Other than that, the texture and seasoning were excellent! The mashed potatoes were creamy, and the collards were good but not put your foot in them good. There were a few items I wanted to try that weren't available for takeout, so I will definitely stay and eat next time so I can try them. You won't be disappointed with your meal but for the full experience, I would suggest...

I recently had an outstanding dining experience at The Hill, and I can't help but share the highlights of my visit! The bread basket, featuring honey butter, yeast rolls, and jalapeno cornbread muffins, was a delightful start, setting the stage for what turned out to be a culinary adventure. The crab dip was a true standout—loaded with generous portions of crab and paired perfectly with the accompanying bread. The main course was equally impressive; the chicken with a flavorful mushroom sauce and sweet potatoes was a true taste sensation. It came highly recommended and did not disappoint. My mom ordered the scallops, which she described as melting in your mouth like butter. Not to forget the finale—the sticky toffee pudding. A dessert that would make Gordon Ramsay proud, it was the perfect sweet note to end a fantastic meal. Our waiter, Nick, played a pivotal role in making this dining experience memorable. Incredibly friendly and armed with useful recommendations, he added a personal touch that enhanced our overall enjoyment. I would highly recommend The Hill for a pleasurable dining experience!
