Some friends and I went horseback riding at the Trails of Serenbe and one of the guides told me about this place when I asked about places eat. We were astounded by the beauty of this quaint area. This place is like almost in the middle of nowhere. It's far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Metropolitan Atlanta that you wouldn't realist that you're really not that far from Atlanta. Not only is it in a very attractive location but the patrons and staff were extremely nice! I had the blue eyed plate with country ham which was really good! I really can't I to go again. I loved it because it is away from the hustle and bustle of city life. I was very impressed with the daisy and will definitely go there again when I go back that way. Some of my friends can be extremely finicky when it comes to their food but no one had any complaints at all. I call the Blue eyed Daisy a gem because it is one of those places that is a must go when you find out about it. Not to mention the fact that the chef was a winner on Cupcake Wars! How cool is that?! Nevertheless, if you ever find yourself in Palmetto, Georgia or at Serenbe riding horses, you MUST go to the Daisy. I highly recommend it. This was my fist visit but definitely...
Read moreWanted to take time and express my disappointment with my salad as well as my daughter’s. First, we drove from Northern GA for our annual Mother/Daughter day. Your establishment was recommended by 2 businesses, in your area that we visited. We asked for 2 Kale grill chicken salads. We made a point of asking for another dressing other than Caesar (we realize Parmesan cheese was noted) but we were willing to accept that. But, the dressing NO. We don’t do dairy. We asked for other dressing options; which were stated and we decided on honey Thyme. We realized after tasting the salad, that it appeared and tasted as is it was pre-made with the Caesar and the dressing we requested added as well. We decided to NOT make a scene and just ask for takeout containers. I got home and investigated further and the salad definitely had Cesar components. It would have been fair to just let us know that. We would have ordered something else. We will definitely NOT be returning or recommending your establishment to any of our friends. I sent and email and called and left a message and no one bothered to get back to me. I definitely should have taken a photo. We were...
