Ricko's Pizzeria And Italian Cuisine — Restaurant in Chattanooga

I frequent here but I don't think I'll be back. The staff is usually friendly but today I was met with attitude and extreme rudeness.

To preface, I called in my order along with some coworkers. Had all payments ready and separated before I got there. I usually go inside to pick up but the door sticks and it can be difficult to open, especially with your hands full. NO employees have ever assisted me in carrying things out or have even offeree in the past. Do I expect it? No. I struggle, make it out and leave. So today I decided to go to the drive-thru to avoid this.

When I pull in, there is a truck in front of me at the window. I patiently wait 5 minutes before they're taken care of and I'm able to pull up. When I do I state my name and say I want to pay separately... with the payments readily in my hand. She tells me I have to come in and I said that I won't be able to open the door (today I had a couple extra orders than usual). She gets extremely rude, rolls her eyes and starts "huffing". She turns away and starts complaining to other staff in Spanish (obviously not realizing I'm Hispanic myself and can hear her). She then comes back and starts processing my payments. When shes almost done another woman comes and hatefully tells me I'll have to come in next time. I try explaining why I didn't but she's not listening so I just say okay. She then points to the car behind me, which had JUST pulled up, and again makes a comment to the other worker. I can one hundred percent and honestly state that I took less time than the truck that was in front of me yet got berated.

I do enjoy the food tremendously but me and my coworkers will not be back due to the treatment from today. Being a frequent customer who has never complained before I felt like this situation was uncalled for. I rarely leave reviews like this but I hope they see this and realize their customer service...

July 2023 uodate. Had their family special tonight that includes 2 pizzas with 2 toppings, salad and bread sticks. Great deal and you can choose the medium or an upcharge to Large pizzas. We added the cheesecake and chocolate cake and everyone enjoyed those as well.

They were very friendly and helpful on the phone. I had looked up the menu online in Google Maps images but still had some questions which they patiently answered. I ordered pizza, I love the buy one get one pizza deal that is normal. They told me that it would be about 15 minutes. I arrived about that time and my pizza's were hot and ready. They were also very polite in person and offered Parmesan Cheese or peppers which I would have forgotten. They are open for dine in and I saw a couple of tables of people eating when I picked up. They do have a drive through available for pickup of orders but you cannot order that way. They have plenty of parking and easy access on and off Amnicola Highway. This was my first time here and OMG 😲 at ALLLLL the choices 🤤🤤 The food was generously portioned and delicious, everything was very clean and well organized and the staff were super friendly. If you're a sweet tea lover, then you will definitely like it as much as I did. It does take a few minutes to get your food, but that just means it will be fresh and is definitely worth the wait. The only thing I have to suggest, is maybe close the door to the outside when it's starting to get cold outside, instead of leaving it propped open?
