Step Inn — Restaurant in Cheboygan

FIRST IMPRESSIONS are very important! On Sunday 07/26/20 at 1030am, my wife, mother, father and I were going to check this place out for the first time. When we arrived only 2 people were outside waiting for (we were thinking a table). My wife goes in to put our name down for the hostess and was rudely told it would be a long wait. ( I didn't mention that they did not take our name) so we waited outside. The first 2 that were there before us went inside and at that point more people showed up. As we patiently waited a party of 4 shows up. 1 person goes in and comes out and tells the rest of his group to go in. (As we waited and watched the whole thing). If the Organization of customers waiting outside is so incredibly horrible I can only imagine...

Went to the Step Inn for a late breakfast, about 10:30 on a Friday morning. There was a wait line, but it only took about 15 min before we were seated. The staff were attentive and organized and kept things moving along. The coffee was flavorfull and satisfying and the staff kept our mugs full. Breakfast was 2 eggs, bacon, thick homemade bread that was toasted, and homemade hash browns. Everything was hot and delicious except for the hash browns that I think had been fried earlier and then heated up in the mocrowave. They were barely warm and a bit soggy, not crispy the way I like them. Given that everything else went so well I will definitely eat...

We've been to several different Mexican restaurants and this one is the worst. We asked for chips and salsa and never got them. My boyfriend ordered a burrito and that's all he got. No Spanish rice no refried beans to go with it. Like all the Mexican restaurants we've been to that comes with the dinner. You sit down to order at a restaurant they bring you free chips and salsa. Not this restaurant!! Not even if you ask for them!! We will never go back to this restaurant. If we want Mexican food we will go to...
