Every time I drive into Chelan I always say I want to go Sigillo Cellars and we finally went and I'm so happy we did! I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I stepped into their charming tasting room, I felt welcomed and at ease. The service at Sigillo Cellars is truly outstanding. The waiter was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about their wines. I wish I got his name but when we were leaving, he was busy helping others. He took the time to explain specific wines, share interesting stories, and make you feel like a valued guest. Whether you're a seasoned wine enthusiast or a novice, you'll appreciate their warm hospitality. The tasting room itself is in the beautifully restored Lakeside School Building on the south shore of Lake Chelan. You can choose to sit on the shaded deck, enjoy live music on the stage, or take in the stunning lake view from the rooftop deck. It's an idyllic setting for savoring great wine. We had a feast as well and shared several delicious plates between all of us. The Charcuterie Board features an assortment of cured meats, cheeses, seasonal fruits, nuts, and house-made crackers. The rotating house-cured charcuterie adds a unique touch. The Black Garlic Crostini is a must have, same as the Spring Burrata. These two dishes explode in your mouth! The black garlic crostini are served on house focaccia, topped with a flavorful black garlic spread, balsamic grape tomato, basil, and a hint of lemon zest. The Creamy burrata is accompanied by cherry tomato, strawberry, blueberry, balsamic reduction, and chive. A burst of flavors! The Satay Skewers were a group favorite! The skewers feature chicken thigh, red onion, and bell pepper, marinated in Thai curry, coconut milk, fish sauce, garlic, and cilantro. A flavorful treat! We decided to get a healthy choice which was the massaged kale salad. This salad features Lacinato kale, roasted chickpeas, red onion, strawberry, watermelon radish, almond, and Parmesan, all tossed in a delightful strawberry vinaigrette. We also got the Kids Board which was a very good size, and the kiddos loved every bite! Overall, Sigillo Cellars provides a delightful culinary experience with a variety of flavors, perfectly complemented by their wine selection. If you're in Chelan, don't miss out...
Read moreWe were super excited to visit here. The first employee we encountered was very nice and explained how everything worked. We sat outside and I was bit three times by wasps (only mentioning because I hope they recognize who we are). We moved seats and everything was fine and she was still very nice. Initially when we tried to hold my card for our tab she had issues and it took multiple attempts for her to save our information. Finally, it worked and we enjoyed our visit. However, when we went to cash out the system again kept not working.. and we dealt with a different person, who was very rude. I told her their was an issue before and if necessary I would pay cash. I checked my account.. had a charge for my visit. She said it was pending and would go away. It posted and I have now paid twice. I contacted the business and have not received a response and am now dealing with my bank hoping to receive refund. I like their wines, but I am really annoyed and sad about the last employees ability to deal with the situation, her lack of kindness, how she seemed to not care, and upset about the lack of response from the business. My advice, their system sucks, pay upfront or use cash from...
Read moreThe building is beautiful. We drove by during the day and said âWe should stop there.â However, the service is incredibly incompetent. We arrived at 7pm with a reservation. We were seated as the only ones in doors. We were told they do not offer table service and had to order at the bar. After ordering at the bar they immediately gave table service to the table next to us. After waiting over 1 hour for our foodâŠ. Pizza and nachos. We asked about our food. The pizza suddenly came out okay and the nachos came out cold. Two more orders of nachos never showed up. Being frustrated⊠we walked up to bar to tab out and leave. It took over 15 minutes to find our tabs, which were wrong and needed to be corrected. New customers came in and asked me how the place was and I told them that given the chance I wouldnât eat here. The waiter then told me âhey buddy, donât say thatâ. After getting back to the house realized they did take off the food we never received but we double paid for drinks that ended up on multiple tabs. As we tabbed out they offered to give us our nachos to go if we paid for them,...
