I hate to post a really negative review because I actually like the food here, but we had a terrible experience tonight which was honestly just ridiculous. My parents arrived early to get us a table and they ordered us a round of margaritas prior to happy hour ending. We met them and the waiter came over around 5:40, so we went ahead and ordered a second round of drinks, which never arrived. Then around 10 minutes later, my dad’s drink is now gone as we placed our food order and reminded him about the round of drinks. Then just a few minutes prior to 6:00 we get our food and yet again remind him about our drinks we still have not gotten. My mother and I both noticed that our waiter very intentionally looked at his phone to check the time after our request. He then walked away, but returned a couple of minutes later right at 6:00 to tell us that he will put in our order, but that it will be at regular price since it’s past happy hour now. Honestly, he’s been joking around with us so we all kind of looked at each other and we were like “he’s joking, right?” But then we received our bill, and he definitely was not. I am completely fine with paying full prices and we frequently visit restaurants and order a drink or 2 during happy hour and then order something else once that has ended, and I’m perfectly happy to pay regular price, but this was so clearly intentional with him looking at his phone to see what time it was and then waiting until after the time had passed to come back, it was honestly quite baffling. And also, of note, we came last week, ordered 2 rounds of margaritas during happy hour, and then proceeded to order a large margarita for me and my husband to split AFTER happy hour ended. So… anyways… I like the food, and the margaritas were good, but honestly, I’d rather go to Don Pepe’s where they never have a happy hour and their margaritas are frankly a little expensive, but those guys are golden. They have AMAZING staff who treat you like family (shout out to Oscar and Pedro!) and I’d rather pay more than go to a place where they very clearly are trying to pull a little scam to make a couple...

DISASTROUS Dinner with Friends.. First off, if you like dining with an HVAC blowing warm, humid air on a 95 degree August day then this is your place.

I and two friends landed here for mid-week Mexican. We should have adjusted our plans once we realized the AC wasn't working. We didn't and we're sorry.

The food here is awful. One friend decided to be simple and order guac, bean dip and flour tortillas. While the guac was decent, the bean dip (BEAN DIP) arrived as queso. We questioned if this really was BEAN DIP and the waitress took it away. Upon return, the BEAN dip was the queso with a spoon dollop of refried beans. This is bean dip? As she unwrapped her tortillas, it appears they were glued together with what could only be described as flat top grease and whatever dark sludge was on the griddle when the tortillas were put down. She asked that they be replaced. The replacements weren't much better.

My other friend ordered a chicken dish; I believe it was pollo loco. It looked good and while the meat looked like chicken, it's texture was that of what I'd envision the sole of my skeechers would taste like if they were seasoned and grilled.

My order, a combo with a hard taco, chile relleno, rice/beans was equally as bad. The taco was hiding, almost completely covered by the chile so by the time it got to me, the shell was basically a chewy, greasy mess. The chile was bad...whatever the ground meat was had no flavor, was incredibly greasy so that, coupled with the grease filled breading basically rendered it all un-eatable.

Three bites is about all I could do. When the waiter saw the plate sitting, he asked was it ok...I said "no, it's all pretty bad". No comment, he took the plate and walked away.

When I paid my tab, the person at the register asked if everything was ok. I again...politely said "no, it was really bad".... she looked at me with a blank star, ran my card and said nothing.

It was bad....one of the worst mexican restaurants...

Dined with a group of six on a lovely Friday, our first visit despite half of us being locals. The restaurant, though new, boasts vibrant decor and music that perfectly matches its Tex-Mex theme. Service was outstanding—friendly and attentive—and the place was spotless with plenty of tidy tables. The menu offered a wide range of Tex-Mex dishes. Chips, queso, and salsa were satisfying, it's not particularly unique. The fresh-brewed tea was excellent, a must for any restaurant. We tried several dishes: the soft beef tacos were decent but slightly disappointing due to watery beef making the shells soggy. The Enchiladas Supreme was a hit, as were the "Happy Plates"—steak and beef served over rice with queso and a side of refried beans. The steak and chicken dishes stood out, perfectly cooked with juicy, tender, and well-seasoned flavors. Overall, it was a solid meal, but nothing distinguished it from other Tex-Mex spots. Would recommend for the steak or...

New Mexican restaurant in Chelsea behind Winn Dixie. Enjoyed the decor. Did not enjoy how loud it was inside. The music and televisions were way too loud that we could not have a conversation at the table. Plenty of seating available. The food and the service were good. The prices were a little steep, but that seems to be every place nowadays. I was surprised to walk out with a bill for $30 with lunch specials. If the sound is lower next time, we'll eat there again.

I had Dos Botellas for the first time today. I went at lunchtime and was seated right away. The restaurant is very spacious and open with a-lot of seating. The staff were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The salsa was good and I like that they provide a jar of salsa and small plates which makes sharing so much easier I had a Chicken Chimichanga topped with cheese and it was so delicious. Everything was fresh. I will definitely be going back!
