Roling's Bakery — Restaurant in Cheltenham Township

One of the best bakeries you'll ever visit. Small and easy to miss if you aren't looking for it but wow, what a hidden gem. If you like fudgy brownies, theirs are just to die for. As a chocolate fiend, their hamantash and rugelach are also delicious. We've tried their everything, sesame, and raisin bagels and really enjoyed them as well. But the crowning jewel in my opinion is their gorgeous cakes. I ordered one recently for my mother's birthday and not only was it the most beautiful cake we've ever had but it was delicious and moist. And fairly priced! My mom will not stop raving about it. Needed to write about my amazing experience buying a cake. Googled kosher bakery and found Roling's Bakery in Elkins Park. I called up and asked about birthday cakes and was connected to the cake designer who sent me pics of all the cakes they currently have and then talked me through my custom order. My Dad is a musician and I asked for a trombone on the cake with gold and black colors. She created this masterpiece!!! Not only was the cake beautiful but it was the most delicious bday cake I've had in a very long time. Not too sweet like most cakes are. It was also very affordable for the quality. The best bagels & challah in the area. They also have whole-wheat of botH. They unfortunately don’t make onion or garlic anymore. If you’re looking for soft bread with a round hole, this is not the place for you. The pumpernickel is dense dark & outstanding! They also have bialys which are just ok. love their cinnamon buns & muffins. I have gotten apple cake muffins and one time they were pretty bad, tasted old & no apples. Blueberry ones are always good. Same with the Knishes; mostly great, but got a really bland one once. They used to make cheese knishes on occasion when they were on 5th st in East Oak Lane....
