Tokyo Japanese Cuisine — Restaurant in Cheraw

Today was my last day ordering from this place. The guy who answers the phone is very rude and hangs up on you. I placed an order through DoorDash and I was calling for modifications because the site doesn’t allow you to do it and he was very disrespectful and rude. He was telling me to make changes through the site so they can charge and I was trying to explain to him that wasn’t an option. They would need to fix that with DoorDash to make that possible. However I have never had an issue in the past when I called to make changes to the order and it’s things that are simple like to wasabi nor soy sauce extra ginger. Even the employees say this guy is rude and most people place orders when he is not there. I just couldn’t today. I can’t see me spending money with a company that is rude to the customers and the employees. I have spent several hundreds of dollars with this establishment and this is the first time I have ever received treatment like this. I don’t know who this guy is but they need to...

I am a visitor to the city of Cheraw, I can say this is NOT Japanese cuisine. I ordered sushi, it was like a 4th grader made it, the teriyaki steak did not have a good taste, I asked to order something else, I didn’t find anything else on the menu I wanted to try. Upon checking out they didn’t not remove the teriyaki steak from the bill, the Asian woman was very combative with all the customers watching, the waitress specifically stated, they would take it off, she advised if you TASTE it, you pay for it. At that point I said fine, I don’t live in SC, I don’t contribute to the growth of this community nor to the business, however, the next time I’m here visiting I will spend my $ outside of this community. Use to be a "ok for the money" type of place considering the location vs real Japanese style restaurants elsewhere. The restaurant went downhill a couple years ago when portions became smaller and had to repeatedly ask that they give you what your paying for such as sauses, wasabi, ginger etc. When you ask for fair portions of condiments that come with your food you get rude responces, lies about it being there, or you get the amount you should get with your order but with a upcharge on your bill. In a time where inflation is running rampant and your being charged extra for less or for nothing at all customer comments and or requests upon ordering should be heard.
