It is what it is. Self-serve all the way. You walk in and there is a cash reserve in your face, but you pay when you leave. You're automatically walking into oncoming traffic and you don't know it unless you've been before. There's not sign telling you to seat yourself. We stood there like bafoons until a benevolent patron told us we were to seat ourselves. My mom accidentally burned my sons hand with gravy. The staff didn't seem to care even though everyone in the whole placed noticed his screaming. Luckily some other benevolent patrons came to the rescue; one with a ice cube and another with a cup of ice. One lady behind the counter did ask what happened...that was thoughtful of her I guess. Speaking of the ladies behind the counter, they are constantly fixing to go orders and really don't care if they have 6 orders of rice and you on the other side want rice. They aren't going to say "Hey guys in the back, the rice was low last time I fixed a plate and I'm about to use a bunch of it." No, they are going to use it all up right in front of you. Kind of really awkward! The tea tastes like black tea rather than sweet tea; of it taste that way every day, I wouldn't recommend it. I almost choked as it went down and REALLY wanted to spit it out my mouth. I'm glad I'm done with that portion of the review, I rarely leave poor ones, but some things should be said. For dessert I had sliced peaches and chocolate pudding...I will admit those things are hard to mess up, but they were good also. The guy at the counter was quite friendly and my children were happy to grab a free piece of candy off the counter (may just be an Oct...

Read moreThe restaurant is outdated for business. Food is good, but as soon as I walked in, I thought of the TV show save diner, bar, etc. They make decent money, but use an upgrade on service, process, decor. Their food line was prepped for closing 4 hours prior to. The place was packed, they ran out of the best dish and cared not about the dissatisfied customer. Another Blockbuster. They may not be...
