Spending time at the Quality Inn while in Cheraw SC was made enjoyable through the staff support during my stay. Initially I experienced difficulty with my reservation request. The translation from reservation to guest was not what I expected, but it was quickly resolved by the staff.
I spent several months in the Cheraw area. This required me traveling in and out of Cheraw frequently over the course of my stay. The staff was helpful in locating local area spots to run and exercise, play basketball and select from a variety of eateries in the local markets for frequent dining. Thanks to the cleaning staff for caring for my room (in particular, Miss Teresa and Miss Keisha). Thanks to Seth the General Manager) for “the additional heat” when needed. Thanks to Daniel (a Desk Agent) for assisting with personal guest services with helping me to navigate the town, locate points of interests and urgent package shipments.
A special thanks goes to the All Star Player of Quality Inn and Suites in Cheraw, Ms Sanja. Sanja was a Desk Agent, but fulfilled many hats during my stay. These hats included Management, Administration, problem solver, conflict resolution specialist, and concierge. I had a chance to observe her with me as well as many the guests during my stay. She didn’t miss a beat. At one time I assumed she lived at the hotel. I did find her one night leaving for home though. Thanks again Ms Sanja for your valued assistance to me during my stay and your loyalty to the brand Quality Inn and Suites to make it the best environment possible for guests.

Read moreMy wife and I visited Cheraw for Labor Day weekend and sadly, completely forgot to schedule reservations ahead of time. We called the venue a day before we left, and spoke to a wonderful woman named Marissa. Not only did she provide all of the information on reservations and locations we requested, she was courteous, professional, and absolutely a joy to speak to.
My wife and I arrived and had absolutely no issues with check-in, our stay, or check-out. It was the only hotel in the area that was pet friendly, and although we weren't able to get an accessible room (due to us forgetting to schedule sooner--d'oh!), we were able to get a corner room and our remaining needs met.
Additionally, as COVID is still on the rise in the US, the attendants and staff were sure to wear masks and post signage suggesting guests do the same. The staff even went out of their way to prepare breakfast individually for each guest despite the social distancing guidelines and obscurities that come with it. Every expectation we had was met and more, and I am so happy we chose Quality Inn. When we visit Cheraw again (and it will certainly be soon), we'll make sure to schedule on time and remember the goodness that was done for us. Bless, and thank you for your hospitality!

Read moreI have been staying here with a group of golfers of 15 to 20 twice a year for 12 years. I have been complaining about things that needs attention too for last couple years. The location is nice as far as in the center of restaurants etc. But that's about it nowadays. The manager Heather has been good to work with but she has her hands tied as the owners don't seen to care. No improvements are being made. I see the place being run in the ground and dumped on some unlucky new owner. The carpet has not been changed in the times I've been staying, the past trip couple weeks ago ice machines were not working and they are back to doing room service every three days. They will offer it upon your request. I shouldn't have to request. Hot breakfast left with COVID and that's obviously not coming back but the prices have gone up. I am looking elsewhere to take my group so until these owners get their crap together and fix this place I'm not planning on coming back. Guess it's going to take getting the word out and people start avoiding this turning into a dump motel. It's a shame cause it was nice at one time. I only have three stars to service and location because service in my view includes everybody involved not just the desk which is usually helpful. Look elsewhere everybody cause this place needs...
