Save your money and go to Chipotle. The food was absolutely flavorless, we got the roast pork tacos and the fiesta mexicana and the meats in both of our meals had zero seasoning to them what so ever. My mexicana meal came with a piece of steak and about 1/3 of the steak had a piece of fat running down the side of it, I don't mind my steak being turned in fat it gives it a nice butter flavor, however this was more like grissle and you could've chewed for days and still not have broken it down.We didn't mind that they gave us more vegetables than anything, however you would think that the meat would have had some marinade something. I used the bathroom while waiting for our food, the toilet was disgusting, and they must've popped a breaker in the kitchen because the lights went on and off while utilizing the facility. My husband and I were looking for a nice new authentic Mexican restaurant, we should've just turned around and walked out when we going out they didn't offer tamales. Highly dissatisfied, but rest assured it WILL NOT...
Read moreCame in for Birria tacos I heard about. Unfortunately was probably a special.
Pretty warm inside. Friendly waitress gave us some suggestions from their somewhat overwhelming menu.
Horchata was good. Not watered down. Comes in small, medium, large. Grande is fairly big.
Appetizer nachos: very sturdy, hard tortilla chips. Sturdy for scooping, satisfying crack. Green and red salsas have a small kick.
Tacos placeros: probably authentic tacos, since I always think authentic tacos are dry. Packed with beef and rice. Appreciate the toppings but used the roja sauce from the chilaquiles.
Bistec chilaquiles: same hard tortilla chips, was alright. Same steak as the tacos, drizzled with cheese, lettuce and onions. Sauce came with a spoon and basically ate from the spoon.
Flan was house made. Not too sweet. Holes from a housemade process, not as thick and creamy as I was hoping.
15% tip added to bill by default.

Read moreSmall intimate setting, only 2 waitresses available... Everything takes forever. The food is a little pricey for what it is and what you get, I've been to fancier Mexican joints in the area and you get far more for less money and it tastes better. The steak tacos I had on my last visit, were full of fat and were real gristly 🤢🤮 Rice was undercooked and I asked for black beans...the beans I got were not black, and they looked syrupy and cold like they were just dumped into a bowl fresh from the can. I did not touch them and even said to the girl, that these weren't black beans. She looked confused so I just dropped it and got charged anyway, idk take your chances if you want... But you can definitely eat better Mexican food for cheaper 10 minutes up the road in any direction. And if you're really feeling bold and adventurous, you can drive into Camden and hit one of these authentic Mexican spots and have some real good food. I do hear casa Puebla has real good ice cream...
