El confetti Mexican Ice Cream & desserts — Restaurant in Cherry Hill Township

Was in the mood for some ice cream but this far exceeded my expectations. Found this spot online and when we pulled in there was already a line.

There’s a parking lot attached in the back. Don’t be like the a-hole who parked in the middle of the drive-way blocking everyone from getting out or in.

There’s a restaurant attached and some seating and tables outside where you can order and enjoy your dessert.

I came later in the evening on a Friday around 7pm. We ordered the elote and churros bite. We wanted to try the waffles but we were told they sold out. The churros bites comes with ice cream so we selected the strawberry cream (because the vanilla and chocolate was sold out).

The churro bites were amazing, they came out hot, with ice cream, sprinkles and whipped cream. We scarfed them down quickly. The elote wasn’t that impressive. The first time I went, I loved it. Immediately came back despite the long wait times. But it was so good, I would tolerate it. I liked sitting on their patio anyways. Second time, I ordered a mango Agua Fresca but was given pineapple. I like pineapple so I wasn’t too upset. I took a friend for their ice cream yesterday but noticed my agua fresca was watered down.. Definitely not as good as the first few times. Today, I get one mango and one watermelon and I’m entirely disappointed. It doesn’t not taste like the fresh fruit flavor I expected or repeatedly came back for. The watermelon tastes like processed watermelon flavor similar to a jolly rancher (which I absolutely hate “watermelon flavor” but love real watermelon) and the mango is a fake mango flavor too.. Both are disgusting. I noticed the difference immediately and I’m disappointed. I had such high hopes for this place.....

I usually don’t leave bad reviews but I’ve been twice at this place and both times I was very disappointed. I’m from Mexico so I was very excited when I found out about this place but I think it is very pricey for what they offer. My first visit I got ice-cream and tostilocos, they were ok but I can tell that tostilocos are nothing compared to the originals. Second time, I got papas locas, nachos and a milkshake. I was EXTREMELY disappointed. Nachos are 8 dlls ok? They are just chips, some cheese and jalapeños (I had to ask for more cheese because it was miserable the amount they put it on). Next time I’ll just buy some chips and make them my own and it would be cheaper. It also takes a long time to get your order. I gave them a second chance but it was NOT worth the drive...
