Bronco Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Chesapeake

We used to regularly eat at a Mexican restaurant in Janaf shopping Center in Norfolk. My husband and I would meet there for lunch regularly. We had the same waiter many times and he got to know us. We had visited Bronco Mexican Grill more than once and were delighted to see an old familiar face. We were pleasantly surprised to recently learn (when discussing the impact of Covid on businesses) that this was our "Old waiter's" very own restaurant!! We were so happy for him and his family that had started Bronco's together. The tables and booths are very nice with the Bronco's logo stitched into the upholstery and inlayed in the resin tables. The bar is beautiful too and I love the neon horse on the wall. The food is top notch even down to a simple dish like chicken soup (which you ought to give a try). The cup is the size I normally get when I order a bowl elsewhere. The bowl will fill you up plenty as a stand-alone meal. If you've never tried it, give the Pollo Soup a try. Our large family gets together for dinner often. I've never heard one complaint from anyone (10-12 of us normally) and we always leave plenty full!! Hubby and I got takeout Saturday night, and definitely recommend this place! Chips and salsa and white sauce come with your order. Their white sauce tasted different than what I'm used to and wasn't my favorite, but still good. Salsa was really good. I got seafood enchiladas, with shrimp and crab meat, it came with a huge scoop of rice and mixed veggies. The enchiladas were a bit on the small side, and I'm pretty sure the veggies were from a frozen bag, but the enchiladas and cilantro rice were really good. My friend and I love this place! Best hands-down margaritas 🍹 ✌️👍😋 Yummy food especially cheese dip, guacamole and nachos😋👍✌️ Salsa is spicy White sauce is 👍 Service needs a little improvement through other than that ✌️👍🙂 Prices is reasonable depends on what u order though 🙂👍✌️ Very nice inside Very recommended 👌

06/30/2023: my friend n I went there, our waitress horrible, margaritas wasn't that good plus give me wrong one (not sure Waitress understand us or what), Food took longer and nachos wasn't good/changed, white sauce wasn't good n all kicked to it. We won't be back after this visit Last few times no problems at all, good food/margaritas/service, but, not this visit
