Sharing the details of my own experience at this place. It says this place is easy going and has a cozy, casual atmosphere that was quickly stripped from me. First impression. Very unprofessional. Talked to me like I was a little kid and illiterate. I was shocked and embarrassed in front of 2 customers that were actually casually dining. The time was approximately 3:12ish in the afternoon. (As pictured) Instead of just inquiring. I was accused of bringing alcohol inside. Very unprofessional and unnecessary. I was innocently coming in after long travel drinking celery juice to calm my stomach before finally getting a chance to sit down and eat. Why after I ordered, sat down, went to the bathroom. All the while I was secretly being watched and spied on by multiple employees. One of the employee's played devil's advocate confronts me about not being allowed to bring in outside drinks and it can't be in here..continues to go on and on...I asked for a cup denied, explaining what/why Im drinking it denied. I proceed to my vehicle and chug it down. I come back and apologize re-explain and they were all still very heated and amped up about it continue to go off about losing their license etc etc. because of their liquor license. This is my first time in Chesapeake, I just moved here, first place I chose to try out. I haven't even gotten settled into a place to lay down yet im stressed, tired and WAS hungry. This was my greeting my welcome from a pizza place. I for one didn't know anything about alcohol being sold here and two I have never had an issue like this before. I hope my move here goes better than this. At this point I done lost my appetite and feel very uncomfortable and asked for a to go box. Plus ((THE WHOLE TIME MY FOOD WAS SETTING BY THE UNTENSILS)) I had to grab my own food to sit down...(So quick to take my money but were not going to give me my food until I got rid of the drink) that was Rude and Horrible service the way I was treated over a jar of juice. I felt so unwelcomed. All over them tripping over a large mason jar filled with light green juice, that could have been gone in a few. I wanted to give 5 stars upon first walking in first impressions for the smell the cleanliness. But thinking back they didn't care that; this was my first time there. Almost did not offer me a menu, I did not get welcomed for entering the restaurant nor was I greeted upon leaving, after coming in by myself, sitting in the corner of the restaurant trying to decompress, the girl slamming the dishes down, my food setting, me having to grab it myself and nobody even bothering to speak to me after that made me feel some type of way. No worries I will not be back and I know ya'll won't even care. I'm a paying customer and over 40 + years on this EARTH. I only go where I am welcome and not accused of being an alcoholic. I was very kind and respectful to all ya'll in return I got your true characters. The rating is you get what you give. I have nothing else to rate on. Update: food was okay, it was not fresh by time I ate it. If I had of known once I walked in to dine in at that moment, I should have been given a decision to order my food to go...
Read moreI have ordered Pizza from this place for the last couple of years, a few times per month and usually had decent service. It is the only small business pizza shop close to the plant I work at and it gets good business from the other employees here. Today I ordered a pizza as usual and upon arrival I had discovered that the pizza was completely cold. Not even warm, room temperature. I figured if I called them up that they would surely take care of it. Well I called up, got the owner, and he did not seem interested in compensating me in any way whatsoever. I explained that I'd never really had a problem before, and that I ordered frequently and still he did not budge an inch, instead he just insisted that he doesn't understand how this happened. So I ended the conversation insisting him that I nor my coworkers would be ordering pizza from there again. If you care about being a valued customer at all steer clear of this Pizza joint! Their pizza isn't even that...
Read moreBest pizza and Italian food in the tidewater area. The pie is as close to NYC as you will get or find. Family owned and operated since the 80's Super nice people work there and always on point with anything I've ordered, especially when it comes to the way I like my pie. Pepperoni well done "Bears Way" 🤌🍕🍝🇮🇹
Now that I'm living out of state I'm not able to get Frank's as often like before, however tonight was one of those times where I could due to me being in the area, and when I'm in the tidewater area, I'm eating Frank's! I got two pies to go and decided to smash my face with what I could for the trek home. I don't know what the amusement park fun my pizza soul felt tonight with eating the pizza pie but I was there...in the land of everything wonderful. My pizza pie was the absolute best in the galaxy! Keep up the fantastic work! Anthony is the best pie...
