Tubby's & Just Baked — Restaurant in Chesterfield Township

Poor customer service. I want to start off by saying I absolutely love Tubby's subs. So last night we were figuring out a place to eat and suggested Tubby's, we live in St. Clair and this was the closest location. I called about 30 minutes to close which would give me enough time to make it there a couple minutes after close. Lady answered the phone and said they stopped taking orders over the phone as of "now" (time of the call) but said that if I came in before 8 they will take my order. Logically and considerably thinking I asked why not take my order now this way you don't have to stay longer after close to take and make my order. Lady says okay and takes my order, I asked her for the total and told me that I will know when I get there. So I excitedly hurry my way down there because I haven't had Tubby's in so long and get there 2 minutes late. Door is locked reasonably so I knocked on the door. Lady comes up and opens I tell her my name for the order walk in and the guy behind the counter told me they didn't even make my food...I was so frustrated because they took my order over the phone and didn't even make it which waated my time and gas to drive down there for...

I’ve been going to this Tubbys for several years now.

Sadly, each visit it seems to go more downhill.

I stopped ordering anything from the deep fryer because the oil consistently tasted old and decided to stick to just the subs.

The last three times that I’ve ordered Philly steak and cheese subs the veggies were near raw or just a very small amount or both raw and a small amount.

I spent almost $40 here today on three subs only to have both Philly’s have raw hard veggies on a warm sub again.

I called the order in, they had plenty of time to cook it, there were only two people in lobby eating and yet they rushed my order to serve me almost $40 in uncooked subs.

It was very underwhelming again. I’ll be taking my business to...

The guy at the register was great....told me I would get 5 dressings with order... No dressing on subs or on the side. Three different people got on the phone one asked for my receipt number. I was there 30 minutes prior..she said I can't go that far back. I was told to drive back to get dressing. Horrible subs that were very dry, more bun than meat and the guy that got on the phone was mean. One lady insisted I should look in the bottom of the bag for a bag with dressing and napkins but there wasn't any...napkins were just thrown in not a speck of dressing $50.00 and 20 minutes later.... needless to say I will never go back to that Tubbys again. I guess it was My fault... will go to 21 and Hayes....they are Very friendly and never...
