Taco John's — Restaurant in Cheyenne

There were four and possibly five employees in the store. We ordered a taco salad with 1000 islands dressing, a kid meal with milk, and tacos and burritos from the drive through. There was no fork. I went back inside for a fork. The milk was sour and had expired 11/24/24. The manager expressed dismay, went to the milk cooler, checked a few until he found a good one. Did not remove or check dates on others or assign anyone to check inventory. There was no 1000 Islands. Just green salsa. Another customer came back inside to complain because her order was two tacos short. The young blonde woman on drive through spent her down time on her phone texting and waiting for the next order. There was no outside trash can. We circled the restaurant looking and, finding none, stopped at the drive through window to ask. No one came to the window even after I honked several times. I left the trash outside the window. It was clear employees had little training and no supervision. While I was there no one was directing employees for corrective actions. No one corrected the phone use behavior. No one followed up on the milk issue. No one expressed concern for having failed to properly fulfill orders. The manager catered to his own and to employee weaknesses. There was no communication, no corrective actions, no oversight, no quality control. Just mute sour silence as though we were wrong to want things done right. I felt sorry for the franchise owner until I realized the owner is the problem. I have been going to this taco johns for the last 17 years of my short human life, and never in that time have I ever experienced such a horrific accident of a meal, to begin with they forgot half of our meal, and when we called to tell them they messed up the guy on the phone was horribly disrespectful to us and slammed the phone onto the hook, after I respectfully explained that they messed up a few aspects of our order. They forgot napkins in the bag, we specifically asked twice for them to put mild and hot sauce in the bag and they were never put in. They missed a total of two burritos and donut bites and one drink. That’s not too much to ask for.. I took a picture of our meal to show how bad it was, eyes and faces have been blocked out for the safety of all those involved in this travesty. My friends are disgusted and my family is scarred and disappointed. Since then my friends have been seeing a therapist due to the extreme trauma caused by this. This Is worse than the astroworld fiasco of 2021. I would much rather buy a travis Scott burger than eat at this taco johns ever again. Sincerely,...

Overall, just go to Taco Bell. It’s cheaper and taste a whole lot better. Pros and cons below.

Pros: Somewhat healthier then other fast food places such as Taco Bell. They’ve never messed up my order and are actually very respectful employees.

Cons: The food taste horrible. My burritos taste like they have dish soap mixed in, their sauces are not good, and the meat doesn’t taste like anything to be honest. And by far the worst thing is those tater tot things, as I feel nauseous after eating about 2. “Oles” They aren’t as cheap as I thought they would be when considering other places. Lastly, my water was most definitely tap water and was disgusting.
