Delicious food, friendly staff, and a great atmosphere. The price for the food is pretty decent for the amount of food you get. The staff are always pretty friendly as well.
I typically alternate what I get here, as I normally get one of two things. I will either get 2 carne asada street tacos with mild sauce and a side small green salad with cilantro ranch dressing, or I will get a regular burrito with carne asade, black beans, and mild sauce. Both are so good, and I am never unhappy with my food. My favorite is the tacos and salad, but sometimes I like to have a meal for the next day, so I only eat a third or half of the burrito, and it can last me an additional meal or two. I used to be able to upgrade my burrito to have sour cream and guacamole, but since Sol had to raise their prices, it was not as cost effective for me to do this. Before, with my burrito upgrade, I would be able to pay the same amount as I would the tacos and the salad. It's still good, and if I only eat a third to make it more cost effective, I get the upgrade, but I mostly do without it now, which is disappointing.
The chips and salsa is really good as well, and I have never had better salsa from a restaurant. As for the mild sauce I mentioned earlier, I prefer getting that over the hotter sauce, despite my love of spicy things, because the flavor was so much better on the mild sauce. I don’t know why, but I am not a fan of the hot sauce/salsa they serve on the food.
Overall, this is one of my favorite restaurants, and I recommend it...
Read moreWent to have lunch with friends and was very disappointed with our meals. First of our husbands ordered to chile relleno burritos they came back and asked us if we wanted carnitas in them they only put carnitas on one of the burrito and let me state the burritos were 90% of rice and maybe a little bit of beans and barely any meat we asked for wet burritos they put the burritos in a red sauce we ordered two carnitas burritos again filled with rice 90% the rest was just beans and meat again hardly nothing maybe 5 tiny pieces of carnitas, we asked for wet burritos green sauce they gave us red sauce after they said they had green sauce. Come to find out they said oh we don't carry green sauce. With that said red sauce tasted like enchilada sauce. No salsa included with the burritos even. Awful 😔 Also let me say overly priced for those two burritos and one soda drink came out to $38.00. Not sure what our friends paid for there meal but they did say it was overly priced also. With this experience we won't be ever returning to this place! You definitely lost 4 foody people that love to eat good food at...
Read moreI tried this place for the first time yesterday and the food was overwhelmingly salty. The black beans were almost inedible. I tried the enchilada plate with carne asada and it was 80% cheese and 20% meat. I literally could have gone to a taco truck and gotten double the meat for half the price. I woke this morning feeling ill from too much salt consumption. The environment felt dirty; tables were left unwiped and the floors were littered with trash. I also witnessed an employee going directly from the cash register to handling water cups without washing his hands. Lastly, the salsa bar was not being properly iced. It was warm in the restaurant and the salsa was sitting above the ice instead of on it. And there should have been hotel pans filling in the gaps to help maintain the coldness of the salsa bar, but there weren't. To the cooks/management, taste your food! If its too salty, don't serve it! And ensure that cold food is staying cold. 41 degrees or below!
