This is def a hidden gem in chico. If you are into specialty and astethically pleasing looking cocktails, this is the place for you. The bartenders here are true alchemists. This place is in the same parking lot as wine time and lost dutchman(right behind lost dutchman). Excellent drinks and amazing customer service every time. Highly recommend. Nico, Alec, and Kevin are awesome! P. S. They have cigars you can purchase at a reasonable price, but you are also welcome to bring your own and smoke the outside in their patio.

The wife and I visited Strong Water last night prior to our dinner date. We absolutely love the ambiance, energy and mood in this very clean and classy place. The craft cocktails served here are delicious and arguably some of the best in town. Our bartender was cool, kind and professional. We've always had a good experience when visiting Strong Water. It's location is tucked away and off the beaten path but worth a visit for sure. If you have not yet been there you'd want to go check it out trust me. You'll love it.

Always a good experience when I stop here. Experience goes far back to original Oregon brews. This place has some of the best brews I’ve had. Not a real hazy person but loved one that was suggested. I came in with a porter taste bud but when I tasted a brown that was recommended I ordered the brown over the English Porter. A great bier is a great bier no matter what the style of brewing. Haven’t had the food so only reason not rated.

Strong Water bar is a unique and exceptional venue that takes you back to the golden age of speakeasies. Tonight at 8:50 PM on Tuesday, March 25th, 2025—just minutes ago—my brother and I attempted to order drinks, looking forward to celebrating my last night in town. Instead, mere moments after handing us the menu, the bartender told us he wasn’t making drinks and would probably be closing soon.

With a careless tone, he said, “They just changed the menu, and I don’t know the drinks. Also, my last day is next Tuesday.” He then told us he could make us either beer or shots. When we asked if he was serious, he confirmed that he was. I told him that’s a terrible business model, and we left.

A few coworkers and I have been meeting here for "meetings"..they have a small snack menu and offer a dinner the times ive gone, which we got once and it was great the next time we took to long to decide and they sold out of the dinner..staff is nice place does get busy and it is on the smaller side so if you have a group, I'd send someone early. I don't drink any longer, so I can only go by my coworkers and Espresso Martini and the sangria has received raves. It's a bit hard to find at first but absolutely worth the visit.
