Use to be "It's a Grind" but they disenfranchised to become the now "Grateful Bean." The worst part is probably the name.
Other than that, the coffee is excellent, staff is friendly, nice stamp card system, several seasonal drinks, awesome mugs and blends for sale, food is good and the price isn't bad. Favorite coffee stop in town for an amazing selection of sweet and bitter coffee drinks. For black coffee drinkers, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO. Local owners are very nice and the place is very spacious with good seating. Massive table in the back corner if you want to have a regular meeting with a group; it's designed for that. The playing cards available in the couch sitting is just an additional touch to make me really enjoy this place. They'll also although almost an customization of drinks for no extra charge. Have great hours as well.

The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and consistently engaging and this contributes to a welcoming atmosphere - I also appreciate the broad swath of our community which will be in the space at any given moment.
Preachers, teachers, police man, parents with fussy childen (my own kid), members of our unhoused population, along with college students, hybrid workers and folks who simply want to people watch. The owner is attentive, and constantly thinking through the experience. It is worth a visit and I am almost sure if you go, you will...
Read moreThe message below is what the boss wrote me after I reviewed the employees customer service, claiming she knows me when I’ve only been in there a couple times. What an unprofessional owner. Instead of being civil and resolving the situation, she passes judgment on me instead, implying my lack of happiness. A professional leader would have assessed the situation and come up with a resolution. And I do agree that several of the employees are sweet, with the exception of a couple of them. The point I was trying to make was that they don’t listen, so you have to repeat your order several times. Instead of taking responsibility for some of your employees lack of attentiveness, you pass judgment on me to make yourself feel better. Only unhappy people tell others they’re unhappy. Very...
