Brian's Grill — Restaurant in China Grove

Decided to stop in since there were some parking spaces lol. I was in no hurry get inside there are 4 customers in front of me no issues well about 2 minutes after I was inside another customer comes in the boys behind the counter start hollering look who is here. Well he goes right up to the counter gets into the second place to order he gets his order taken the lady in front of me turns around and looks at me and I didn’t say a thing but she never what was on my mind. Maybe I am wrong but that is not good customer service for the people who had been waiting in line. He got his food went to area and sit down and other customers besides me and the lady in front of me didn’t like it. 1st time, walk-in to packed restaurant no where to sit & everyone was staring like we didn't belong long... notice the menu - ONLY 2 main & side choices plus drinks (my 1st time seeing that) when placing order my partner unknowingly asked for a double which he was PROMPTLY told they don NOT do followed by an annoyed rant of their 4 item menu and lack of personal preferences... REAL NICE MAN!... finally got home to eat the hamburger is decent fries are delicious but their "chili" is more like fried onions (thankfully I don't eat) and at smell was so strong it lingered for hours in the house... Oh my gosh!! First bite was amazing. Owner working the grill who was extremely nice giving suggestions and even offered that if I didn’t like something, he would re trashed what I got and made me something else. Food is of very high quality and the prices are very reasonable. The chili is homemade each day and add a great layer of flavor to the burgers/hot dogs. There’s only about 15 or so seats, which leads to the total local vibe. All drinks are in a bottle, and they feature Cheerwine and Sun Drop. Food is made in record time to get customers fed or out the door. This is a cash only place, so make sure you have enough to pay for your food and tip.
