Let’s face it finding a somewhat even decent pizza joint in North Carolina is a challenge most give up on after a failed few attempts of finding something worth your repeat business. That being said look no further! I present to you the Meadows at the Grove Cartel Brewing! This establishment has accomplished a unique twist to the traditional pizza scene that is often sought out to experience other than your cookie cutter franchise options! The service provided is top notch. The quality, freshness of ingredients, attention to all the details, and simple yet sophisticated presentation to the plating is amazing! My wife had the Gabagool sandwich. She has brought this home several times before and it has never ever disappointed! I had the Salsiccia Personal size pizza. First let me start off with how gorgeous the pie looks! The flavors and ingredients pair together so beautifully that each bite was like a standing ovation to a famous orchestra that just finished its final performance! We also had their Triple Fried Duck Fat Fries and these do not miss the same expectations that the two other dishes achieved! The Togarashi seasoning was an absolute masterpiece of a touch! Their fresh Queso that accompanied the fries was also a unique addition, mind you they make it fresh daily!! It also had a house made horseradish dipping sauce that was superb. To be able to enjoy the fries 4 different ways on one dish was an absolute joy ride! Your taste buds will be in a euphoric high of flavors!
Service, Quality, Location! Nailed it!!!! I and my family as well as any friend that is willing to tag along will be back! Looking forward to exploring the rest of this menu and finding more hidden treasure to share! Can’t wait to...
Read moreI didnt mind the food however the whole expierence there was awful. I was there this Saturday (8/12) and before I made the trip there from Mooresville (25 mins away) I called to ask if dogs were allowed there, knowing it was a 90° day. The lady I talked to said yes, downstairs. Once my boyfriend and I get settled at a table with my dogs. I asked the bartender (who also walked by us at one point and looked right at my dogs and didn't say anything to us) if they had dogs bowls. Never said a word to me about dogs not allowed inside. About 15 mins after being there the other bartender comes over and told me that dogs were allowed but they had to be outside. I explained how I had called earlier and they said it was fine downstairs. She then asks me "did you talk to someone upstairs?" I was like I don't know, I called the number on Google. She goes "well dogs have to be outside". I was clearly annoyed but started packing up to move outside which I didn't want to do hence why I called ahead. I left my BF and friends to drive an hour back and forth to drop my dogs off, as it was too hot outside. While I was gone, another dog came in sitting at the bar with their owner. Neither bartender had a problem not only letting a puppy stay inside but also showed him love with pets, etc. My friend went up to the bartender that told me I had to bring my dogs outside and said "hey my friends gf just drove an hour back and forth to bring her dogs home and this puppy is here." She claimed she was going to tell him, but he stood there another 15 mins. It seems they pick and choose so if you have a cute puppy you're fine but not an adult/senior dog. This was my first and ONLY time I'll...
Read moreI really like the vibe of this place—great atmosphere, and the downstairs bar has a great variety of local beers. It’s a solid spot to hang out and enjoy a drink.
The food itself is amazing—everything we had was delicious. But unfortunately, the way they handle ordering and service takes away from the experience. You have to place your order on your phone, and before you even receive your food—or can evaluate the service—you’re prompted to leave a tip. The thing is, you’re essentially serving yourself. You grab your own plates, and the only interaction with staff is when they bring the food out.
On top of that, the food came out in a really unorganized way. Our pizza and fries arrived first, then egg rolls much later, and finally, 15-20 minutes after that, our wings showed up with the dips we had originally requested. It felt chaotic and inconvenient.
Overall, the food is fantastic, but the process really takes away from what could be an incredible experience. A little more structure in how orders are handled would go a long way in making this place...
