Basil Bistro Pho Vietnamese/ Asian Restaurant — Restaurant in Chino Hills

I'm very happy a restaurant that offers top quality Vietnamese food opened in the Eastvale/Chino area. This restaurant offers a few dishes that the typical Vietnamese restaurants don't offer such as the Banh Xeo, Banh Beo, Bun Bo Hue and Chicken Curry.

My husband ordered the Bun Bo Hue and it was DELICIOUS! We appreciate the fact that they kept the Pork Hock in the soup and they give Sate sauce on the side (if you want to kick it up a notch). I ordered the grilled pork with vermicelli noodles. The pork was cooked to perfection, the egg roll was meaty (it had the meat and noodles) and they offer peanuts on the side (in case of any nut allergies). We also noticed that they offer a different special dish during the week. When we went on Friday, their special soup was Banh Canh, which is a seafood soup with udon noodles. Other specials they have throughout the week is Chicken Curry, Chicken Pho and Hainan Chicken. I will definitely be back for the chicken curry and chicken pho.

The staff and the owner at Lemongrass Bistro are the best. The owner, George, comes over to the table to make sure everything is good. The wait staff is very attentive by making sure your drinks are always full and taking away any dirty dishes from the table.

I'm glad I won't have to be driving 25 miles for good Vietnamese...

We had the pleasure of eating dinner at the Basil Bistro Pho Vietnamese Restaurant tonight based on it's great Google 4.6 rating, positive reviews and to fullfill my cravings for flavorful pho. We had a 5.0 dining experience and I believe it is best Vietnamese restaurant in Chino Hllis. Our waiter was very customer focused, charming and attentive. The restaurant was warm, quiet and cozy, perfect for a Friday night date night. The menu choices were extensive. My husband loves eggs and was delighted to try the bbq pork cutlets and shrimp with rice topped with a fried egg and small salad, (#14 Trio Rice Plate-Com Ba Mau), which was the bomb! I had to try the shrimp and vegetable pho and loved the wonderful flavorful broth with lots of fresh boiled shrimp. We enjoyed dinner with a pot of hot green tea that our waiter kept refreshed continuously for us. It was a wonderful choice for dinner and unwinding on a fall Friday night. Thank you...

After church, we couldn't find our usual Vietnamese spot, so we Googled nearby options and found Lemongrass Vietnamese Restaurant. The food looked great online, so we decided to give it a shot.

As soon as we walked in, we were welcomed with friendly smiles and polite servers who made sure we were comfortable. The service was quick, which we appreciated.

We started with some wings, and they were amazing. They had a perfect blend of jalapenos, salt, pepper, and garlic. For the main course, I had pho, and it tasted just like a home-cooked meal. Absolutely delicious. We also tried the spicy beef pho and the shrimp and Chinese sausage fried rice, and both dishes were fantastic. It all tasted like it was made with a lot of care.
