It was my birthday, so my daughter told me, there is this new pizza place and they have 5 star reviews. Let's check it out. So we went there. The place was half empty, no table or chairs but bench style. It was a hot day, the windows has no shade, the sun was shining on each table, and in our eyes.... the music was extremely loud, so we had almost to shout to here each other. It was ver uncomfortable place, I ever been. To top that we had to wait 45 min for our pizza to be ready. There was one cook and one young man, Joey. this young man was working so hard, wearing all different hats. From the register to serving table .. the pizza was very salty and tough. Melissa was great with the promptness and accuracy of our order. Antonio sent the food out quickly considering it was busy and he was alone. I’ve ate A TON of Tiramisu from everywhere, Albertsons frozen variety to the top steak houses of America, this is hands down the best tasting Tiramisu I’ve ever had. Swoop yourself a fork full and wait 5 seconds after it hits your tongue and it’s gone. No chewing , no trying to look for something to help you wash it down, simply enjoying all the contrast flavors of this world class dessert before it dissolves to a delicious memory. I’m from the East coast , born in Boston and moved to NYC when I was 5 and stayed until I finished getting my degree at NYU. This tastes like home. The absolute best pizza we’ve had outside the City “NYC”!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but if you’re reading this, do yourself a favor and give this place a try. I live in Orange County and I’m committed to the crazy drive to grab a Pizza from The Next Door Pizza.

We can’t wait to try the other items on the menu. FYI, the picture is a LARGE “Mr Popular”. The first words out of my mouth after saying I was picking up my order was, wow I didn’t expect this.
