Royalty Cakes — Restaurant in Chino

This bakery came highly recommended by my event designer. The day I went in to place my order (4 months in advance) I left a $100 deposit for the cake. I spoke with the owner who at the time was busy and needed to assist another customer. The owner quickly ran thru my cake order and told me that they would reach out to me via text message to further discuss my needs for the event. Upon leaving my deposit, I was never once told that it was non refundable. I was given a hand written recipe in the description stating deposit. Sadly the event that cake was for, was canceled. When requesting my deposit back I was told, it was non refundable. That I could purchase something in the store or gift the deposit. That is was company policy and if I took the time to read the posting on the wall I would know that. Sadly I was not in the bakery longer then five minutes and was rushed since he had another customer that he needed to tend to (hence further discussing thru text). The hand written recipe also did not state that it was non refundable nor did he disclose that. The owner gave an amount for the deposit and since I only had $100 on me and did not expect the event to be canceled. I went ahead and left a cash deposit of $100. To be clear I gave plenty of notice three months notice of the cancelation, no preparations had been made for the event on their end, no money invested on their end ether. I would have thought that the owner would have clearly stated the policy upon taking my money or at least have some type of compassion to refund my money or a portion of the money since I had give ample amount of time. Royalty Cakes is truly the best! They always bring my kids’ dream cakes to life, and I genuinely wouldn’t go anywhere else. Their creativity, attention to detail, and customer service are unmatched.

They recently made a Sanrio-themed cake for my daughter Ava’s birthday, and it was absolutely perfect — not only stunning, but delicious too! It was the star of the party and everyone was talking about it.

And here’s the thing — I never eat cake. Ever. But theirs? I genuinely look forward to it. It’s that good. Moist, flavorful, not overly sweet — the kind of cake you actually crave.

I’ve ordered from them multiple times and every experience has been amazing. I’ll be sharing photos from previous birthdays as well because their talent deserves all the recognition.

Oh my gosh! How in the world did I forget to post a review for Andrea and her amazing bakery?!!! I ordered twice; first for my daughter-in-law's wedding shower.... yummmmers! What a delicious and beautiful shower cake. Everyone commented and my daughter-in-law loved the confetti and marble flavors. Darling Andrea got three new customers from this shower party as everyone was impressed with not only the design but the three delicious flavors, icing and filling. AND the wedding cake was every bit as beautiful and delicious. SO happy to have found you. Will post again soon... going to pick up the cupcakes today for another shower! If I could give them 10...
