I drove 20 minutes to get to this McDonald’s. We live out I. The country.
Drove up to the drive through mid afternoon behind one car. Waited for several minutes at the kiosk and no one ever came on the speaker
I assumed that they thought the line was empty
So I rolled around to the 1st window. No one there
Windows wide open. We can here the sounds of the kitchen. I call “hello” and “anyone there?” Several times. Nothing
So then I pull up to the 2nd window. Three employees just standing there at the window. And shocked that I am there.
I tell them what happened. And they explain that the headset broke.
So I say. “Ok. I’ll take a ….”
But they interrupt and say I need to drive around and place my order there. !!!!
And now there’s a line around the building!!
So I ask for the manager and the man who showed admitted that the headset battery actually died.
So again. I said ok. That’s not important. But my order is…
And then he interrupted saying that he can’t take an order there.
So I asked why not since the girl who takes the orders was standing behind him. With the newly charged up head set.
He just said it’s against “policy”
I asked if it was policy to have only one operational headset?
Oh know we have more than one.
Then why did it take so long if you had another ?
No response to that.
I know the issue. They have a timer that measures how long each customer spends in line.
Fast line = good job = more money for manager and owners
Unfortunately, anytime they ask you to pull up because they want to cook you fresh fries etc. they are supposed to keep the clock running. But we all know that’s a lie.

Read moreI have never in my life felt compelled to write a review for McDonald's and I write lots of reviews. This is by far the cleanest, nicest McDonald's I've been to in awhile. First it started with a man, Dominic, yelling "Welcome to McDonald's" acknowledging that we walked in their doors. Then I didnt want to use the self service kiosk since I like to add Mac sauce. The young lady Layla, who helped me didn't seem to be bothered by it, she took my 7 year old daughters order patiently. Then I walked over to get my drink, which normally the soda machines at fast food chains disgust me but this one was absolutely spotless. Not a sign of dirt, grime, or mold anywhere. Then when our food came out I went to the front to ask for BBQ sauce and was greeted with a smile by Jessica instead of a look of annoyance which was a pleasant surprise (mind you I haven't been to this McDonald's before but I've had my fair share of bad experiences at fast food resturaunts you know that look I'm talking about). Food was fresh, hot, and the burger wasnt a dry hockey puck it actually had juice in it. Just for good measure I checked the bathroom while writing this review. The bathroom smelt clean and looked clean minus a small issue with a broken toilet paper holder. Read moreWent through the drive thru this morning ordered hotcakes with sausage, 2 big breakfast with hotcakes, a breakfast burrito, oj, and sweet tea. They brought me my tea, hotcakes and burrito. I was nice and told the woman at the window about what all else I had ordered she said it's coming, I said thank you. A few minutes later she came back asked to see my receipt so I gave it to her she looked at the screen and handed it back. She came back with one big breakfast with hotcakes so I told her I was missing my other big breakfast with hotcakes she rolled her eyes shut the window and then another woman came asked me for my receipt so I handed it to her. She came back with the rest of my order said here and shut the window. I was nice to each of these 2 women and they were both very rude and acted as if I were lying about my order. The 2nd woman kept my receipt. Neither offered to say sorry for the mix up or for your wait. This is first class sorry costumer service. I called up there but I do not think it did any good because I am almost sure the 2nd woman at the window was the manager. I do have the first woman's name and will be calling corporate to let them know how I was treated this morning. You know when you have a receipt to prove what you have ordered and they are still rude and treat you like your lying something is...
