If I could give you no stars I would, we came in expecting the usual cause normally it’s pretty good food and service, but today was just horrific, we came in and yes it was a little bit busier, we asked for a booth and one of the female coworkers asked how many people so we said two, she went to seat us and I nicely asked if we could have a booth, she proceeds to say “oh you want a booth or you want to wait” with a very rude tone, I said we would take the table that was open, so as she has this guy coworker walk us to the table and get there, I mean there’s still food all over the table and he takes a dirty rag with I assume was just water, wipes the table down and then puts the paper menus right on top of the soaked table. As we go up to get our food and then sit back down, none of the food was hot, it was all luke warm, some was even cold, and really none of it was very appetizing except the crab rangoons, so we decided to try and finish our one plate (mind you this is a buffet) and then I went up to go pay. Here is where it gets even more interesting, I went to hand the same lady my card to pay for the bill, and she pulls out a calculator with two different receipts and tells me that I need to add 2.11 as a tip so it adds up to the other receipt, and mind you she’s basically telling me I don’t have a choice and getting firm with me, and mind you this has never happened before, I’ve never had to add something to even another receipt out, I wasn’t going to tip, I was very upset from the moment I walked in, and frankly I don’t think this was professional at all. Don’t go here unless you want to lose your appetite...
Read moreWhile the selection of buffet items are good I dislike all the times I've been there initially getting good service from my server only to have her disappear only to find her eating lunch with her extended family a table away along with the entire restaurant staff. They are all eating different food from what we are all offered in the buffet which makes you wonder why what they prepare for us is not at all good enough for them??? All the while they are all eating nobody else is attending to the customers such as myself and the food in the buffet goes unattended for the 30 minutes or more that it's lunch time for an extended family (2-3 year olds all the way up to 80+) I'm all for eating as a family, but I'm a paying customer who doesn't feel my dining experience should be interrupted by the entire restaurant staff deciding to take a break all at once at my (and others) expense. That's just out and out rude... Not to mention in the winter months they don't ventilate the building properly causing all the windows to be drenched in condensation. Condensation is also an issue when it's built up so much that the Shields over the buffet are loaded up dripping condensate onto all the food. Yuk! Hopefully management here will consider some of my issues and make change. I know I have... I choose not to be treated as such by an entire restaurant staff who just clocks out in the middle of your meal without any care in the world......
Read moreMe and my friend came in a little over 45 minutes before they closed. Knowing we could eat within this timeframe, we decided it would be fine. When we got there, roughly half the food was gone, requiring us to “order” if we needed anything that was already gone. At about 9, they asked us if we were done getting more plates. I’m sorry? You close at 9:30p? Around this time, everyone came out and started shutting the place down, including the music, LIGHTS, and cleaning the floors, which made it a skating rink when getting around. At 9:28p, this lady apparently booked it from the van outside, which they all drove off in, and came back over to me and said “we’re closed.” Excuse me? She STARED and I mean STARED at me until I finished, standing right behind us. Me and my friend could not keep a straight face. What is up with these people? The lady did not make one smirk, just stared at us until I was done. Since I didn’t finish my chocolate, I asked if I could take it with since they were rushing us. She said “yup, go” in the most annoyed tone ever. Can’t forget the part where they started yelling in another language to each other talking about us. We knew they were, because we could make out the word “closed” and they kept staring at us. Luckily, there was one other family in there that made the experience very memorable, in a much better way. Keep this all in mind when coming later, as it will not...
