Iāve been a loyal customer at this location for nearly nine years. Throughout that time, Iāve always been welcomed to order or pick up my mobile order with my dog by my side. Even during COVID, when restrictions were heightened, the staff went above and beyond by taking my order outside and bringing my drink to me ā exceptional service.
Unfortunately, the inconsistency in their so-called pet policy is frustrating and makes loyal customers like me feel unwelcome. The staff's enforcement of the policy seems arbitrary, depending on the mood of the worker on duty. Just last week, I was inside with my dog, and no one had an issue. Yet this time, the worker ā while polite ā refused to serve me. When I mentioned my past visits, he had no real explanation other than a vague reference to policy.
I even asked if I could place a mobile order outside and come in briefly to pick it up, but he said no. His only suggestion? āYou can leave your dog outside.ā That's simply not an option ā she's a show dog, a therapy dog for Westmont, and it was nighttime with no designated area to tie her up safely.
The inconsistency is what bothers me most. If thereās a strict policy, fine ā but it needs to be enforced equally for everyone. Singling out customers randomly creates an uncomfortable and unfair experience.

What kills me is the girl who rang me up and the guy were too busy talking about movies, Spiderman that they took 8.5 minutes to make my drink and it was just matcha with soy milk. There was a mobile order with 2 drinks and it took him 3 minutes to make a blended drink because he was too busy stopping to look at her and talk. There were three ppl there yet the two brunettes boy and girl seemed to not want to work effectively. There was a blonde cleaning up a bit she started to work on orders. I just guess getting the customer out and drink right wasn't a priority. I order match with soy milk. I got mostly soy milk with a pinch of match. I've never had a matcha drink look so light n pale with not much matcha in it.
I swear I could of went and got a pizza from pizza hut, come back and it still not be ready. I just never went to a Starbucks where movies and chatting were more...

A few minutes later you tell me your impossible sandwich is not possible because you canāt make it since you ran out of whatever you need for it Now I have to go to another place to get en extra sandwich and my entire ā15 minuteā lunch errand takes 35 minutes and the sandwiches I bought next door to you are now cold.
