So far everything we have tried has been amazing. The food portions are generous. The flavour feels more homemade than the Lolitas taco shop that's across the street. The coffee there is delicious. Wish I had photos of the food, but I'm always too hungry to take photos of them. It's a great alternative to Lolitas, especially with the limited selection of nearby restaurants in the plaza. Prices are fair, more towards the high-end of the spectrum though, however considering that the portions are hardy, that's why I say they are fair. It would've been 5 stars of it wasn't for the female cashier. She is by no means rude, behaves with a professional demeanor, however, all the times we have visited she is always in a visible bad mood. Again, she isn't rude, but it does take away from a friendly, fulfilling and welcoming atmosphere. I understand we all can't be happy all the time, might just be her personality. Again, this has just been my experience.
In summary, food and drinks 10/10, just don't dine in or expect a...
Read moreMy office orders tortas for lunch for everyone from this place quite frequently. Today, I decided to order the Turkey sandwich and soup combo for lunch and they both exceeded my expectations. One of my coworkers warned me that the tortilla soup wasn't chicken tortilla soup so, I was a little weary, but the taste made up for the lack of chicken. The broth was perfectly seasoned, there is a good mix of vegetables and the cilantro helped gave it a very nice flavor. I got the Turkey sandwich on toasted sourdough bread with provolone cheese and it was very good. They use cucumber in their sandwiches, which isn't common, but it should be because it really kicks up the freshness factor!
