Tldr: Rude employee gives me wrong order then manager said it’s my fault
I used to be a regular here until my terrible experience tonight. There were four people total, one cook, one manager, and two cashiers. It was obvious one cashier was new and still learning the ropes, so I was patient. Once my order was taken, I was the only customer in the cafe. I know this because I watched as they struggled to substitute fries for breadsticks in the order in front of me because they didn’t have breadsticks ready. I stayed seated and thought they would approach me when it was ready. They called a name and approached me handing me an order I thought was mine and being the only person there at the time, I took it. They asked me what drink I wanted and I told them I didn’t get a drink. Then I was asking them about my large blue cheese for my order. By these two questions, neither two people in the front, could tell this wasn’t my order. I didn’t see it wasn’t my order until I got home so I was going to call. The number on google is wrong and when I called the correct number, no one answered. So I just go back and think about what to ask and then when I got there, the manager was not able to communicate with me because of a slight language barrier. They gaslight me and tell me it was my fault because I didn’t check my order before I left. I ordered inside and was the only person in the cafe when they handed me my items. They kept telling me that I needed to check my order next time, but it’s not my job to make sure that the orders are getting handed out correct. If it wasn’t clear enough, the other order I got was not even an order in the cafe, you think they would have system to distinguish phone orders from inside orders. The new girl did the best she could and was apologetic because she knew they were in the wrong even though they were treating me terrible. The other girl was extremely rude, making mistakes, and was not even supporting their new team member. She was the one who made the mistake then instigated it was my fault because I didn’t check my order? How was I supposed to know there was another order when I was the only one there? Having a bad day doesn’t give you an excuse to not do your job or be nice. Customer service girl was nice when taking our order, while manager/owner was breathing down her neck at the counter acting like he was looking at his phone, obviously monitoring the order and glancing at me and the order taker. Once the order was ready, they called our name to pick it up so I did. We were seated only 10 feet away and was curious why the order was not brought to our table. Upon opening our order we noticed we received only three sauces/dressing so went to the counter to request the fourth we were due. Manager/owner was again eavesdropping from halfway across the kitchen as the girl gave me the fourth dressing. From his position, without even knowing the situation, he tells the service girl, "They're only supposed to get four!" I butted in a said, "We only got three," and showed him the three when I walked back to our table. He didn't say anything. I think he should have apologized to nice girl. Atmosphere was okay, but trying to watch Bellatore fights on nearest TV were difficult to watch with a ceiling light hanging right in front of it.    Read moreI have had two bad experiences at this Wing Empire here. Both with Services taking way too long. The first time my food was just sitting there and I asked the guy if that plate was mine, and he said no, after waiting a long time I saw the guy grab the same plate that I asked about earlier and he handed to me. I didnt want to argue or make a scene, so I just stormed out. I told myself I would not return to this Wing Empire. Today I figured it was just that one time so I'll give it another chance. I get there with no one there waiting, they were taking an order over the phone. When the lady was done she took my order, minutes later 3 different parties walked in... the first group got feed first and I thought to myself, ok, I guess it's ok since they are eating here. Then another guy came and picked his order out. They called two other names out and it was the other two parties that was after me... The cashier looked at me and realized that I was waiting a long time so she asked for my name... After another ten minutes my food was ready.... My mind is definitely set I'll stick to Palm Ave's Wing Empire. Food is better...
