La Quebrada Restaurant — Restaurant in Cicero

I went to this place with my coworkers And we decided not to go back again the food was horrible and the Orchata & Jamaica were tooooooooooooooooooo sweet. The guacamole didn't taste like a real Mexican guacamole it didn't have line and salt, I told the Waitress "can I told you something?" She yeah tell me. I said this guacamole is messing salt and lime, she went to the kitchen and told the cook and they told her that different ppl make the guacamole and some of them put everything in the guacamole and other employee don't make it how it's suppose to be made. I was shame of this place I wanted to ask them do you want me to show you how you make a real Mexican guacamole? I work in a kitcken cooking and if somebody is paying a high price for our food I like to make sure our costumer in my restaurant get a good and tasty food not a plain flat dish. My coworkers and I went there just because in the radio says that is the best Mexican food but is I BIG LIE, I would say it's the worst not good at all the price it's not...

I love the food here ! But sadly today I was very disappointed....I walked in at a little past noon today , wasn’t greeted , when my boyfriend and I sat ourselves at a booth we waited about 20minutes before we were noticed . There were 9 tables with service all of which I was able to observe were already served and enjoying their meal. There were 2 waiters there one of which took our drink order after like I said 20 minutes of us just sitting there and waiting to be noticed . After he took our order he walked around in circles around the tables and back and forth to the serving counter. we waited another 20 minutes and still got no drinks . All we ordered was a agua de jamaica and a coke in a bottle . I mean how hard is it to bring 2drinks to a table in such a small place like this ...we just ended up walking out...like I said iwas so disappointed. Left there craving their caldo...

My favorite restaurant for the food. Food is great, delicious. But very poor service. Food always takes to long, it's not the first time. waitress does not write orders down on her pad. Trying to remember more than one order table, for what? So they can bring me the wrong order. I had to eat alone cus everyone had finished eating and my order was taking long again. After bringing orders, Waitress never came back if we wanted something else, when we wanted two...
