Food was a 2.8. Service.... I ordered takeout. Plans changed along the way. I now have my grandson. Once I arrived to pick up my order I requested to change my order to dine in and I would be placing an order for additional food. I was told I would need to pay a tip and taxes of which I agreed, no problem and did not mind at all. I was continued to be rung out for carry out. Thinking maybe it was misunderstood, I asked again if I could dine in and I would be okay to pay a tip and taxes. At that point their story changed to we've already bagged your food. I said no worries, I can eat from the carry out containers and will be placing an additional order. Well the worker possibly owner seem to get more agitated and have more of an attitude than she already slightly had before simply because I asked to change to dine in. At that point I did ask I don't think you want me to dine in. So I paid for my food, let them keep the dollar plus change from my payment and left. She should have initially said sorry we can't do that and also not mentioned paying a tip and taxes for dining in if it wasn't possible. I kept my tone low and did not have an attitude as my grandson was looking on at this transaction. For "me" personally, I will not purchase food from there again and support them. The food was not bad, just not all that and So So many other "like/similar" restaurants that I can receive peaceful service and get the same or better tasting/quality food. My grandson was not a fan either and I did not talk negative to him about my experience. This restaurant is in the middle of a neighborhood where there are not many restaurants, so some people go there for convenience. Food 2.8. that I wouldn't give a recommendation for any restaurant. And for the attitude, the eyes round and round, head movements, would not recommend. If you read my reviews, they are honest. Truthfully accurate of my...
Read moreI visited this place for the first time on Sunday afternoon and realized that we are the only customers. I had doubts and apprehensions that I might not like the food here being a vegetarian. But I had to go on my friends insistence.
The ambience was neat and peaceful. I felt the restaurant hygienic. Since there are very limited options in vegetarian, I ordered Fried rice with Vegetables in which I asked not to add egg. It was colorful and had a nice aroma when I looked at it. The taste was awesome but it doesn't taste like a typical South Indian fried rice. I think it has the authentic Chinese fried rice feels. It is little spicy and there are many vegetables which are boiled well and sliced. I could relish the taste of boiled vegetables in fried rice. Also they gave some side to add to adjust spice which looked like a typical Indian pickle. It gave some nice taste when added in little quantity. My friends also tried shrimps and chicken noodles and they had some nice things to say about it. Overall we liked the food and I won't hesitate to visit again.
I loved the fortunate cookies. We asked them again for couple of extra cookies and they were welcome to...
Read moreFor some reason people think this place is an amazing Chinese restaurant. It's decent. I like very good pan fried noodles and I've had them at many other places. I chose to give it a second chance on this visit and it was just as bad as it was the first time I had it. I even asked to bring out the entree and noodles separately so the noodles didn't become soggy in the noodles came out soggy. Seafood is the only entree on the menu with the fried pan noodles. I asked if I could have it with beef instead and they obliged however I made the false assumption that being beef the sauce would be a brown sauce not a white sauce. Beef and a white sauce just doesn't cut the mustard. But that is what they served me. All the help was especially nice so I have no issues there whatsoever we were a very big party and they did a decent job of getting everybody's food out in a timely manner. I'm just not particularly impressed with the food there are many better options...
