Rasheedah's Cafe — Restaurant in Cincinnati

I heard so many positive things about this restaurant but a positive experience is not what I had! I ordered the fried chicken dinner and was very happy to know that I would have to wait because it was cooked to order! But as I waited. I saw the sides i ordered being microwaved if you are going to do that make sure it’s in the back! When I received my food the chicken was cooked two times over! When I say hard and dark you wouldn’t believe that they would even serve it! When I took it back in Ms Rasheeda wasn’t very happy with me! Even after see the overly overly cooked chicken! I simply asked to exchange for a different meal the lamb and even after my inconvenience she asked for the difference in price! So I walked to my car to get the money but the more I thought about I didn’t want the food anymore so I requested a refund upon my return which made her even more unhappy but she did refund but only after checking the meal box and noticing that the small piece of bread that comes with meal was missing and I returned it to her! I hope for the public’s health she will not serve that to anyone else! I guess I went on an off day! But I will not go back again because of the customer service! And Ms Rasheeda please stop counting your money...

Rasheedah's was most definitely a experience.. A experience i will not want again first off when u walk in you think covid is still rampant they have the seating blocked off for patrons and an elder woman sits in the middle of the floor with a calculator adding up every single reciept.You would think there's another space for that. I ordered a chicken dinner greens was sold out the wait was if i was dining in a five star. I shouldve knew when a young male walked in who was familiar with them was stating " man dont burn the chicken " what i get burnt chicken the yams straight out the can whole chunks prior to receiving my food i went up to add additional rolls to my order unbeknownst that the elder was shrewd and looked at me crazy and stated we dont sell rolls here‼ We got wheat bread and cornbread that i make with cream of wheat and not cornmeal 🤔.. My whole meal was awful i didnt finish and someone with me ordered the Grilled Salmon mac n cheese he did say the mac was good which i was happy to hear something was good. I see this place had good reviews but im truthful.This restaurant will not get no more service from me. And we are not gonna speak on the young man she had taking...

This restaurant comes highly recommended, but like most things is overrated. Mrs. Rasheedah was the person that greeted me, helped prepare my food, and rang me up. She was very pleasant. I bought the salmon croquettes with green beans and rice. The rice was bland and had a boil in the bag aftertaste. The green beans had a decent taste. The salmon croquette was a great size with a great crust, but the filling was missing a little flavor. I also ordered the beef short ribs with buttered potatoes and collard greens. The beef rib was very unappetizing. It was slathered in a thick odd tasting bbq sauce that made it very difficult to eat. The greens were tangy and had a lot of the larger stems cut in it. The buttered potatoes were ok. I recommend that if you still want to try it that you order about 30 minutes of it needing to be ready.
