Teranga Restaurant — Restaurant in Cincinnati

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Cincinnati. For being a restaurant, I was floored by the authenticity and quality. Over the past few years I’ve tried everything on their menu. The amount of food you get for the price is unbeatable. If anyone has had someone prepare them authentic African cuisine and you’re looking for a place to match the at home ‘from scratch’ quality, this is the spot for you.

I wish they had a few more of my favorites on their menu, but I’m not complaining. I just like food…a LOT. 🥹

I’d be destroyed if this place ever closed. The only Persian restaurant we had only lasted 2 years and I have to drive 2 hours for it now or make it myself (which is an all-day chore, not ideal for someone living alone but I’ve done it).

I have been going to Terangas for years but they have definitely lost their touch or there is a new cook. My food was very bland so bland I had to come home and put some seasoning which Is something I never had to do because it’s always seasoned well. The cabbage isn’t good anymore, very crunchy. This is the best Caribbean and African food I have ever had. Always fresh, from the juices to the meats. Outstanding portion sizes good enough for two peoole. You can really tell they put their hearts into the meals. The Senburger is so good! Wings huge and perfectly seasoned, sakha sakha and oxtails fall off the bone, fataya excellent, Theibu Yap so perfectly cooked. Just yes!. Every time just makes me happy to support...
