I live down the street from the crows nest and being from a family of of Irish immigrants I was initially curious of the shamrocks and walking in the door seeing a massive Irish flag on the ceiling. After doing some digging it turns out this location is actually the site of the oldest Irish pub in the Cincinnati Area.
As many others have stated it is under new management but I have personally met with both the owner and his brother and they are great pepeople.
Music is consistently good and it is a very laid back crowd. The recent Lent fish fry were good as well and I'm a proud owner of the of their shirts (designed by the brother) and one of their limited St. Patricks day 2022 shirts.

Read moreWe have been regulars for over a year. Eat lunch there everyday. Never complained except one time. I was in back. Everything was hot EXCEPT the chicken breast. All I asked is if it could be heated up. Bill-the owner comes out ACCUSING me of being in back...he says I'm checking cameras. Like OMG. Then last weekend 5 customers in the whole place we ordered a breakfast burrito and bacon and eggs. The bartender took someone's order AFTER us...they got their food; 45 minutes later...we are still waiting. I wasn't hungry anymore. We put 20 bucks on bar and said we didn't want the food and we were very nice and patient. We go in 2 days later...the bartender says...Bill said you're not welcome here anymore. After I dropped out of college for the second time, this was my bar of choice. I'm from the Westside & I couldn't go in without seeing someone I know, or was related to - which is pretty comfy, truth be told. When I went back to college for the third time, the bar staff was so proud that they bought me a pitcher of Guinness and pitcher of Harp so that we could have a couple half and halves on the house.
You can sit out on the patio, drink a few beers and shoot the breeze in a way that is becoming increasingly rare at bars in general.
