Roadhouse — Restaurant in Delhi Township

This place is managed terribly. The owner is extremely incompetent. His wife runs around acting like she's is the owner barking orders and making demands on top of her getting extremely drunk and crying every night because she is seeking attention from anyone who will give it to because her husband hasn't. And if you like smoked food you can bet this place is the best for that. Your food wiil be slowly smoked with the flavor of Marlboro or Paul Mall cigarettes because the cooks never don't have one lit and smoking. And if you wondering what the secret seasoning flavor is, yupp, you guessed it. Cigarette ashes. Look up the board of health reviews online. I don't see how this establishment is even open. All the work that is done to it which should be done by certified professionals is done by the bar drunks that can barely drink the beverage correctly. And he pays them in beer tokens. What a swell...

Food was terrible, everything. I had potato soup, green beans, mashed potatoes and ribs. I told the server as I had only taken two bites. The ribs tasted old and as it turns out they were. She told me they had just been made Monday, it's Friday when I ordered them. Come on, 5 days min. I specifically asked if the potatoes were powdered when ordering and told they were real. Tasted powdered to me. I refuse to eat powered mashed potatoes. First and last time there. The bar gave me the vib of a neighbor watering hole. Im sure the locals who were drinking their buckets of beer love it. Bar/Server was nice but I dont eat nice. Bad food leaves a taste in my mouth which won't allow me to eat a good meal soon afterwards. Kinda destroyed my taste buds for a bit. I would recommend never going there to eat, for drinking probably ok. You chose. In fairness they did take the issues...

My wife and I went for our regular date night out. She ordered a plain 1/2 pound burger and fries. I ordered a1/2 rack of ribs with their house made Cole slaw and Mac and cheese.

All prepared well. Burger was juicy and as good as you'd be able to expect from bulk bought pre-made patties. Fries also as food as can be expected from purchased products. I do not mean this in a bad way at all. For the price point of dinner, it was great.

The ribs were a high point. Very tasty, juicy, and inexpensive for ribs. The Cole slaw compliments the BBQ perfectly. The Mac and cheese was also a great side.
