Georgetti's Pasta & Sauce — Restaurant in Cinnaminson Township

I have been getting ravioli here for DECADES. They are always delicious--cook just perfect with creamy cheese centers and the dough not too hard. But I noticed at Christmas, the raviolis weren't the same. It took forever to cook them and even after doubling the normal cooking time, the dough tasted like cardboard and the cheese center wasn't creamy. I just tried them again and they were even worse. I was totally embarrassed to serve them to company last Sunday. I don't know what changed (except that checks now must be made out to M. Georgetti). But it is time for me to find somewhere else to purchase ravioli. I am really sorry that I have to make this decision as Georgetti's is close to my home. Before my father’s stroke, he used to come here fairly often for food & fresh pasta to cook with for our family. For Valentines Day I came in, got soups, chicken parm, fresh gnocchi and a bolognese. After cooking and reheating everything, my fiancé and I both noticed the soup had a strange fishy taste, and I wasn’t sure if it had just gone sour? I tried to add spices to correct it to no avail. The bolognese was practically meatless, runny, and bland - yet still fishy. The gnocchi was also bland. I didn’t even try the chicken parm since I was so upset but my fiancé described it as “dry - like bad wedding food”. I am frankly shocked at all the 5 star reviews of this place. I went in for lunch and got a chicken parm sandwich and a side of sausage just to try it out. The chicken on the sandwich was microwaved before being put on the bread so the breading was falling off it and mushy. The sausage which was also microwaved was two pieces about two inches long that were gristly and hard on the sides closes to the edge of the container. The sauce was the only thing I enjoyed. Both were very over priced for what you received. The staff were all standing around on their phones and didn't seem too concerned with two people that walked in and were looking around trying to find something. Will not...
