After hours of traveling and the grueling process of trying to sell my collectors coins & vintage authentic gold and diamonds at random shops in Philadelphia and getting really low cash offers, I found Yanni at Golden Jewelers. If I could vote more than 5 stars, I totally would. My experience there was probably the best I could ever or will ever get. Not only was I greeted with a friendly face, hand shake and smile, I was able to use their private restroom and he also offered to get me a beverage. His customer service skills were out of this world. People could really learn from this man on how to approach people, integrity, and hospitality. He offered me an amazing amount of money for what I had to sell, an amount way over what I was hoping for which was great. He was extremely fair, and worked with me on prices. Not only did he buy my gold, he also had merchandise (gold & silver watches and jewelry) that I purchased from him, and he allowed me to name the price for each item!! He ALSO discounted them for me! The entire process was so easy, quick, and actually really enjoyable. Not only did I walk out with a pocket full of cash and new designer jewelry, I made a new friend. PEOPLE I am telling you. It would be difficult to write a review about Golden Jewelers without talking about how welcoming and professional Yanni is. While I was there, I watched him care for several customers, and I did not see him lose his smile the entire time. He was incredibly helpful and personable. Yanni is also very quick to respond to emails.

The store is well lit and very clean. It hosts a very comfortable sofa which came in handy while I waited for my transaction to finish. Water was provided for me and offered to every customer when they came in.

I will definitely work with Golden Jewelers again.

I took some jewelry into Golden Jeweler's today and the person at the shop diamond tested the rings. One of the rings was 1.6c according to the paperwork I have but it tested as glass according to him. The others tested good. I watched as he tested the diamonds and it seemed he tested them the same. He offered me money for what I brought in, which seemed alright if the main ring wasn't a diamond. He also said if it was real I would be looking at over 1k more with original offer. I have never been to a pawn shop before and maybe I trusted that he knew what he was talking about. Yes, the diamond tester did not peak like the other rings but when I thought about it after I left, I wonder if I got screwed by him or the company I bought it from originally.
