Corner Spot Karaoke LeCafe — Restaurant in Citrus Heights

I went with a group of friends, and all of us left unimpressed. From the microphone not working, To very rude staff, It was an all around unenjoyable experience. The food and drinks were Standard large over priced For the portions, I was supposed to receive five wings I received four And the fries I received about a half a handful, For 17$ I expected at least what was pictured online. They were out of several items and couldn't make many drinks and food items . We asked for water and we're told that it was tapwater , No problem because it was what was free how Ever when asked if it had a filter, she said no she doesn't believe it does. It's filled inthe same sink that the dishes are washed in, major yuck and the fact they said that is crazy to me. Especially bcuz you cant bring your beverage in not even water, we had a long, wait time for our drinks, even though we were the only ones in the whole bar, That should have said enough but we booked in advance and it was paid so we still stayed, The reviews online were really mixed so we decided let's just give it a shot. The place was a good vibe with nice clean and spacious private karaoke rooms. My only issue was that we complained that we couldn’t hear ourselves on the mic and we were told that some speakers had blew out so they couldn’t make any volume adjustments. After moving to a different room same thing microphone volume was too low and they ended up dying so I took them out and the batteries were changed quickly and I noticed another group was also here at this time. At the end of our 2nd hour we were asked how was it and I said great except we couldn’t hear ourself the whole time through the microphones so it did not feel like karaoke, meanwhile we can hear the group that took our place loudly through their microphones with the door closed and the same staff member says oh they were complaining so I called the owner and she said I could adjust it because it wasn’t the speakers that blew out. I don’t think she realized how messed up it is that we also had the same complaints and nothing was done group of black girls vs group of non black. I went with a small group of friends and we all had different issues. The main one amongst the whole group is that our microphones were not both at the same volume. One was loud while one was whispering. We asked the worker and she said that its preset and that she is not able to adjust theme. We said no problem but when we went to the restroom we could hear two other rooms very loudly. For sound proof rooms they were very loud. While we couldnt hear ourselves sing. My friend also wanted a Vietnamese coffee that was advertised and upon asking she said sorry we no longer have that. Our food came out and looked delicious but upon eatting the wings were cold almost frozen in the middle. We were going to ask for a replacement since none of them were ate but the one worker was so busy we didnt get a chance. We waited around after we left the room and we still didnt get a chance.
