Yes, the food is a bargain. And yes, I should expect what I pay for. But I'll say this much, if there was an award for the least consistent food court, Costco Citrus Heights would sweep the competition, no doubt. Especially when it comes to their pizza. Either the pizza is overcooked, has barely any cheese, or it looks like a kindergartner with his safety scissors was cutting them. That, or it was hardly cut, like they used my kid's Play-Doh cutter with light pressure. Worst part? THEY HAVE A CUTTING GUIDE. Still screw it up. Constantly. They need to learn the concept of "happy kid/sad kid" slices, because it's guaranteed that someone eating that pizza will get shafted. We all may be better off just taking the whole pie home and cutting it ourselves.

(Edit) they handed out free sodas, so thats cool......So, what are we doing Costco? Can't figure out how to make clear, distinct lines and processes for phone orders, pickups, etc? Michael stands there shouting at people that there is only ONE line, but the ground had zigzag arrows and 98% of these people standing here called in the order anyway. Come on Costco. Implement a way to include the NAME of the order when we pay. Then Michael can stop yelling that he needs names for numbers. And this other dude has the gall to tell people to "look at their receipts...." figure it out people.

the course of the dog did not look very visible in the photo, the trash cans were completely filled, not tidied up, the sauces were ramazan, there were 2 lids for glasses. very few places to sit inside. in general, the store is good, but the food area needs work, ice cream can be made cheaper. Portions are large, food is fresh.

My family and I went to the Costco Food Court on Saturday January 4, 2025 to grab some pizzas and hot dogs. It was 12:30pm and they were a bit busy, but there was a guy working in the kitchen named Michael, he was berating his colleagues in the kitchen, telling the lady he was working with to stop accepting cash payments and to make the customers use the kiosks. He was rude to the customers, yelling last call when calling out orders implying he wasn't going to give folks their food if they didn't get up to the window fast enough. There was an older lady who just received her food and I overheard her tell her adult daughter that they forgot to give her the ice cream she ordered, but was afraid to ask for them for fear of being yelled at. There was a mailman in full uniform clearly on his lunch break holding three dollars in his hand to purchase lunch and Michael refused to allow the man to buy his lunch using cash and instead told the mailman to use his card at the kiosk. The mailman left without getting any food. It was a terrible experience. Nobody should be yelled at and spoken down to by one of their colleagues, let alone, paying customers too afraid to ask for their missing items for fear of being yelled at. Nobody should be refused service somewhere for wanting to use cash unless it's a cashless business and there are signs stating so. We live closest to this Costco, but I don't think we'll be returning...

Give yourself a lot of leadtime and a fair amount of patience when phone ordering at this location. We phone-ordered 3 pizzas around 2pm. They said the pizzas would be done in 20 minutes. They told us to go to the pre-paid window with my Costco card. We arrived about a half hour later and waited in the pre-pay line. When it was our turn, the person at the window said that we needed to be in the regular line or use the kiosks to pay for the pizza. Once we paid, we had to go back to the pre-pay window to complete the transaction. We were then told it would be another 5 minutes until they were ready. After waiting 15 minutes the person assisting us realised that our pizzas had been sitting on a shelf. When we got home, we found none of the three pizzas were sliced properly. They all had to recut so they wouldn't turn into a huge mess when taking a slice. They one person receiving, cutting, and boxing the pizzas definitely could benefit from some management oversight as well as assistance from other food...
