Stock Ranch Nature Preserve — Attraction in Citrus Heights

One of my favorite places in Citrus Heights. I got a lot of great ideas from the drought resistant garden they put in. I bring my dog here often and he likes to walk here and check everything out. There is a wooden bridge that crosses over a wetlands area. At the end of the bridge you will run into Van Maren park, another beautiful spot. Was nice to go to a nature area but you still definitely feel like you're still in town being right by Wal-Mart and Costco. The trails didn't all connect like I would have liked. This place is the best Citrus Heights California has to offer nature-ish-wise. Its a nice little Nature walk for sure;although, parts of it are kinda garbage-y,because that to be expected given the decay of our civilization.
