Learned about Iakimo Sushi from a Yelp review. I drove 30 minutes to get there. I was doing a happy dance in my car while enjoying my sushi. SO fresh and delicious! BUT, I was expecting a sit down restaurant. Turns out the "restaurant" is located in a shared commercial kitchen. It's very cool that a variety of cuisines can be accessed in a single space. There was another sushi space, an ice cream shop, a Mediterranean shop (that closed this week because they opened an actual restaurant on Sunrise in RC. I'll definitely be going to the restaurant, because I bought dinner from them while I was there, and it was delicious!), a fresh frozen Polish dumpling freezer) and a meal prep and delivery service that looks like a winner. I liked the rolls at Iakimo Sushi — they were fresh, tasty, and nicely presented. However, in my opinion, the prices are quite high. Soy sauce, wasabi, and ginger come in very small portions, and if you want more, you have to pay extra, which feels a bit unfair given the already high cost of the rolls.

When I came to pick up my order, I found out that new customers are supposed to get a 5% discount, but I wasn’t given one. They even insisted that I had ordered before, although this was actually my first visit.
