Small no leash dog park one for the little dogs one for the big dogs. But they are each very small. There's a nice brand new looking , brick ship house, and an older one. And wouldn't you know it? Neither one of them work! Yeah it's been without a bathroom on any kind including a porta potty for over 3 years! yeah the lady who runs that place, must, pocket all the money she saves, from, not having a porta potty there for 3 years! I didn't see any smell any or step in any, but that doesn't mean it's not there! Sadly the park is becoming a Homeless haven. Picnic tables are now taken by overnight campers as well as a Homeless Camp just over Arcade Creek near Garfield. Time to find a new place for walking. As of Labor Day Weekend the homeless guy that lives at the first picknick area near the parking lot is still there. He has at least 3 dogs that run untheathered all day and night! Read moreArcade Creek Park is a hidden gem nestled in a very pleasant residential area off of Hackberry between Winding Way and Madison. I stumbled upon this wonderful spot while riding around Carmichael on my bicycle. I've lived within a couple miles of the park for over a decade, but I didn't know it existed until recently. Surprisingly uncrowded, the grounds are quiet and clean. It's equipped with courts for both basketball and tennis. However, the best feature of this lovely place is the dog park. There are two fenced-off areas, one for small dogs and another for larger breeds to run and play in.
