Subway — Restaurant in Citrus Heights

I go into this location at 3:11 PM Friday afternoon. I get my usual sandwich as a combo today. I drive home about 10 minutes as soon as I get home I’m opening my sandwich and I take a few bites and there is a black reddish small baby beetle on my food paper as if it was under the sandwich that was wrapped up, so I spit my food out took a picture because I don’t know if I ate something I wasn’t supposed to. I take everything back up to the location. To ask for a refund show them the picture of the bug and they tell me no I can’t have a refund that they will make me another sandwich. I won’t ever eat at another subway again this is unacceptable. My issue was unresolved and they took my info and told me they reached out to me. This is sickening and I hope no one else eats at this restaurant again. I am sick...

If I could give negative stars I would. This owner has no respect for any of his customers. Their hours are wrong and the owner closes early if he feels like it. He’s unprofessional and doesn’t want you as a customer. Go to the subway 0.2 miles down the street on Antelope and Daly. I went in at 8:45 and they close at 9:30 (or so it says online and in store). He wouldn’t let me order and basically yelled at me just for walking in. He said the close early because of COVID, but it’s been a year since the COVID-19 pandemic started and they still haven’t changed their hours online or on the door. Dude made my sandwich like he had to be with his wife giving labor. I’m always nice when people are making me a sandwich because I used to work at a little deli sandwich shop myself and picked up on customers pleases and thank yous. He very sloppily and hastily threw the thing together making a total mess with the sauce, lettuce and pickles literally no exaggeration throwing it on the sandwich instead of placing them on there. Then at the end he crumples up the napkins before putting them in my bag. Not sure if dude was having a bad day or what but he did such a noticeably poor job i had to write a review lol.
