⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Flavors that wow, drinks that dazzle, and an experience you’ll never forget!

If you're looking for your next go-to spot for incredible food, epic drinks, and an atmosphere buzzing with good vibes, let me tell you about Agave Social, the newest brainchild of the Pineapple Hospitality Group! My wife and I recently had the pleasure of dining here, and let me just say—it was love at first bite...and sip...and chocolate churro ice cream sandwich. But let me start from the beginning.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and energy, courtesy of the amazing Katie, who was hands-down one of the BEST servers I’ve had in ages. Her positivity, enthusiasm, and spot-on recommendations took the whole experience to the next level. Pineapple Hospitality Group always sets the bar high when it comes to service, and Katie proved that tradition is alive and thriving.

We kicked things off with the Fundido—a gooey, flavor-packed masterpiece of Wagyu Chorizo and Oaxaca cheese that had us fighting over the last bite. (Pro tip: order one for yourself—you won’t want to share.) Now, the drink program? Absolute genius. With a margarita menu so extensive, choosing just one felt impossible—thankfully, they’ve got margarita flights! I sampled three (for science, of course) and crowned the Pineapple Jalapeño as my reigning favorite. My wife ventured outside the margarita realm with the Second Wind cocktail and declared it her new favorite drink ever.

The food menu was a feast for the senses, and narrowing it down was no small task. We went with a few of Katie's stellar recommendations, including the Wagyu Cheeseburger Taco. Let me tell you—it’s not just a taco; it’s a life-altering experience. Every bite was so fresh and bursting with flavor, we were tempted to just keep ordering.

But the pièce de résistance? Katie’s ultimate recommendation: the Chocolate Tiki Torch Ice Cream Sandwich. Imagine crispy-fried chocolate churros stuffed with creamy vanilla bean ice cream, dressed with a candied coconut coating, and drizzled with toasted coconut cream sauce. It’s a dessert masterpiece that takes indulgence to a whole new level—pure bliss on a plate.

The cherry on top of our visit was meeting Courtney, the phenomenal GM whose care and attention to detail are clearly driving this place to greatness. You can tell Agave Social is in expert hands, and it’s only going to keep getting better.

So, huge kudos to the Pineapple Hospitality Group, Tyler, Katie, Courtney, and the whole Agave Social team. If you’re not already planning your visit, what are you waiting for? This place is a vibe, a flavor explosion, and a downright good time all rolled into one. Trust me—you’ll leave with a happy belly, a favorite margarita, and a craving to...

A family celebration brought 3 generations of family together and Agave Social evolved as our backdrop. Newly situated in a strip plaza on the southeast corner of Erlich and Dale Mabry is a Mexican themed restaurant boasting a fusion of many world foods. Mexican, Peruvian, Korean, Jamaican, Chinese, Japanese and American to name a few. Most in the form of tacos, bowls and entrees. A casual atmosphere with lounge type seating and a quick pace.

First thing I noticed is they charge for chips and salsa...Boooooo!! Bad form! Shame on you! Well, got that out of my system. Each bowl and taco and entree is crafted with some countries typical food in mind with an array of typical ingredients from that nation in an original twist on Mexican, Asian and American foods. There seems to be something for everyone. Every dish in our group rated between 4 to 5 stars. Well crafted, savory and similar in their authenticity to the real thing they emulated. Service was quick, attentive, team-driven and pleasant. The kids dug the fries but did not seem too keen on their chicken tenders.

They do have an interesting and creative group of tacos and bowls to choose from. 2 out of 3 of my tacos were superb, 2 out of 3 of our bowls were highly rated and my sons Wagyu Burger was top shelf. The Korean Wings were a solid 4, very sticky and messy with intense flavors. It's a modest menu full of interesting choices with moderate pricing and a vast spectrum of flavors.

There is indoor and enclosed patio dining. The bar has seating on both sides and there is an extensive drink list and many takes on Margaritas. Not quite sure I would return. Was not a big fan of their classic margarita and to me, some places are 1 and done. Having said that, I was curious about a couple items on the menu, like the brisket nachos, but then again...they charge for chips and salsa. That is a big deterrant for me, especially if I am out and about with tacos and tequila on my mind. They must have some version of free chips and salsa to garner my taco business. You can charge...

Great spot that really elevates the Carroll-hood! I think it’s less than a year old but the roots are looking strong.

Excellent overall concept and design with just the right amount of energy — you will leave full and happy and not exhausted.

Families and all ages were finding their spots and their yummy Mexican / fusion food & drink. The staff is having a good time, and so is everyone around the bar and across the diverse landscape of indoor and covered patio seating options, from cozy sofas to booths to tables to high tops.

Nina at the bar was an ideal guide through the menu and drink list, noticing all the things that make you want to be a regular here. The nodding heads around us confirmed that yeah she is a reason to come back! No universal healthcare in USA yet, but we have some great bartenders who can restore some sanity with their thoughtfulness and menu recs. All of the staff we met were dialed in and you could tell this was a place to work where people look out for each other.

Can I suggest anything to get even better? The food in general is incredible, the chips, tortillas and salads were each a highlight, and the yummy purple potatoes. Since it is a scratch kitchen, I would experiment lowering the salt level in a lot of the dishes by 10-20 percent — do some taste testing and let me know what others think!

This small change could trend you even more delicious and elevated with the other flavors and ingredients popping, with of course bonus health conscious nutrition. Folks who want more salt can always add it! Just a suggestion, take it with a grain of how awesome you are. We are lucky to have you here and we...

This restaurant definitely elevates Mexican style cuisine and delivers on many well crafted cocktails with tequila, especially their basic Margarita. The Coup de Ville Margarita includes a Grand Marnier air foam on top, which adds to the fun and specialty as I have never seen such a thing before. Definitely missing an opportunity to promote this on social platforms as a signature cocktail, only found here. Very unique taco offerings and Wagyu beef on the menu in multiple places. I enjoyed the simplistic menu, as you can not go wrong with anything you select because they choose quality over quantity. The outside patio is huge and well covered from the sun and rain. The bar is a U shape and has indoor and outside seating. The bartenders are constantly hustling, and watching them pump out drinks on a Friday night was really fascinating. The only thing that was really odd was the lack of lighting at the bar seating. It was really weird as it seems like the actual bar for the workers is well lit enough, but when you sit down, I literally could not see the menu. I watched a few other people take out their phone lights on the inside part, so I knew it wasn't just me. I've never experienced this before at a bar. It's not going to deter me from coming back by any means, but it's just weird, especially at dusk when we were there at peak dinner time.

Food is good; the service on the other hand is extremely disorganized. We arrived at 8:10. There was no line. We spoke to an attendant immediately. It took approx 8-10 minutes to place the order. We were told our food would be out in 30-35 minutes; we understood that it was busy. We asked to sit by the bar, and we were provided a seat to a messy bar counter. Bar tender was very kind. The drinks we had were excellent, and we were looking to place a very happy review. The service was left to be desired, and we’ll probably never sit in again. We may order to go, an hour ahead of time, but that’s it. 8:10 We walked in to place the order 8:20 We were seated to a dirty counter We wiped crumbs off the seat and moved the leftovers to the side. 8:35 We were attended by a bar tender. The counter was cleaned then. 8:50~ We closed our very small tab. There was not much of an opportunity to order more. 8:55 We received our order. We’re not cheapskates, and the bill was never the issue; if we’re spending 4.50 a Taco, and more on appetizers/shareables, we expect minimal levels of service. If the food will take closer to an hour, tell us it will take closer to an hour. Be clear. Be honest.
