Revising my review. Food is still amazing. The empanadas alone are stuff of legend here and will have me continue to support this small business. 5 star food. I'm lowering my rating on service to 2 stars for a couple things over the last month.

So the hours here on google maps are not accurate. This business is now closing at 6pm. I stopped in a few weeks ago at around 5:30pm and didn't look to see the hours changed. I asked for a sandwich and the young lady there told she couldn't make a sandwich and didn't explain why. Instead ordered a few empanadas and a pastry and didn't think much of it. Today I stopped by at 5:45pm knowing they closed soon. Same young lady behind the counter. I noticed right away all the pastries were covered. I asked her if I could get some empanadas and she said no. I asked if I could get anything and she said no. Basically they were open but not open.

The location isn't easy to access at rush hour so I was a little annoyed that I left without food. It looked like she was there alone and already had everything cleaned up so I can see her viewpoint. Last minute customers can be annoying. But every job I've worked if you're open you're open. At least when I leave give me information like "call ahead" or "get here by 5:30pm". Anyways was negative experience for me but I'll continue to visit as the...

I made a Doordash order in this place. There was a misyake with the app (wrong delivery address that wasn’t even my fault), and Doordash customer service cancelled my order so I could place a new one. I placed the new order, and then after waiting several minutes the new delivery guy contacted me saying that the restaurant wasn’t going to prepare my order because I ordered before and cancelled (Again, the cancellation was not my fault). The restaurant was so out of touch and didn’t even had the cordiality to talk to me and explain the situation. If they lose money for the previous order I probably would had helped, but not even talk to me personally? This is such a bad handle of customer service, and definitely such a bad handle of the situation. Cancel my order and not even talk to me? Just refusing to sell without any reason? This is by far the worst experienxe I had with a restaurant and I don’t recommend comming here if you have to deal with people that act like this. So disappointed. I don’t think workers are colombians, I’m Colombian and I can say for sure that my people is...

Great hidden gem for baked goods and more! I tried a few items. Their Cuban sandwich has their fresh bread which really sets in a part from most others in Tampa. I missed the pickles, but otherwise the layers of flavor was definitely there. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. I usually don’t have a sweet tooth, so I resisted their pastries and baked good. They looked delicious! For me, the lentil soup needed more flavor and cooking time as it was a little crunchy. The cafe con leche capped off my meal in the best way! It’s small inside so to-go might be best for more...

What a pleasant surprise. Hidden in a small plaza on Gunn Hwy, this bakery becons with some tasty looking pastry. I came for the cuban test. Always looking for a better cuban sandwich. The cuban was moister than the prototype due to a copious amount of melted cheese. It was pretty good, but not tradional. I can not wait to come one morning, get a cafe con leche and start tasting pastries. Nice to have nearby. Very pleasant people to talk with. Will update regarding coffee and pastries.

We found this bakery while trying to find some Cuban sandwiches to bring home. Boy, are we glad we stopped by. The sandwiches were so good as well as the empanadas! The only thing that was difficult for us, no on spoke English and the bakery/food items were not labeled in English-so it was hard for us to buy more items.
