The big guy at the bar register needs to go. I don't know what his deal is, but his attitude towards myself, my girlfriend, and others is just horrid. Our first time, he told us we couldn't go in to the theater because it was being cleaned (15 minutes prior to showtime), which, fine. So we'll order a drink. But no, he had other plans. I was in the middle of actually ordering when he interrupted me to say I am supposed to place my order inside the theater. Yes, the one he just told me we weren't allowed to go into. OK. I said to him, "nah, we'll just order here" and he DOUBLES DOWN and says "well, you can order from inside the theater" - not really sure at this point what kind of bizarre game he's playing, but I wanted out. My girlfriend and I then sat at a table, having been blocked from ordering a drink, and waited for the theater to open. While we were sitting around, he starts open mouth coughing from the very bottom of his lungs, realllly hacking while serving draft beers and iced teas and such. No one notified us it was ready, and the previews started playing, so we just... Went in.
The movie we saw, we had a really hard time truly seeing the more low lit scenes because of the light coming in from the door left wide open and/or the projector's condition. The service was in the theater fine, if a little janky but whatever.
We went back for drinks again a couple weeks later, he's at his stupid post again. Great. We overhear him telling another couple who is trying to order drinks that, it's not necessarily that they weren't allowed to, but he's just... Not having it. They're confused, just as we were, he's weirdly proud of what he just said to them. He is like an overgrown 11 year old bully. It's just the weirdest thing.
Management: if you're reading this, your employee (sorry if he's probably someone's nephew) is alienating your customers and tainting the charm this place could have had. It's so weird. Total no brainer, he's got to go. Or at least be reassigned to a non-customer facing role. Me and my girlfriend were going to buy annual passes but because of 70% this dude and 30% the quality of the feature presentation itself, we just...
Read moreIve given them more than enough chances, but everytime i go there the service and business of the place is terrible! My last visit today was the final straw, I couldn't believe how lazy and inconsiderate the practice was.
Unreasonably high prices for their small portions is one thing ($12 for a cocktail and $15 for a salad, really??) but thats not what pushed me over the edge.
I went there for happy hour with my friends because drinks were half off which made the price just bareable. We had to order food because of the covid madates which is understandable, but when i was paying for my meal the price was outrageous. I asked why, making sure they got the happy hour deals included, and the issue was that the menus they have had the wrong prices for the food! Its cheaper on the menu than what they charge and they just thought that was okay. Not only that, but they charged me for three fries when I only ordered two, after refusing to fix it I said the over charge could just be for me buying my friends fries as well which they agreed to. Then they STILL charged her for hers although i already over paid for them!
unbelieveable, when I confronted them they just said they'll "do better next time". Ugh, there's never going to be a next time and I strongly suggest going elsewhere for your...
Read moreI tried to go see the new Superman today, but couldn't find anyone to scan my ticket. I had paid for the 8:20 show time and was a bit late, arriving at 8:24. I couldn't find anyone to scan my ticket so I seated myself. I've been to a few theaters that scan your ticket after you sit down, and since I'd never been here before thought maybe that was the method. Even though it was a few minutes after my show time, what was playing was the END of the movie. I slipped out and tried again to find an employee or see if there was a different Superman theater I was supposed to be in. No luck - I was in the right theater but the time was off somehow. The lobby was super loud because of the trivia night event, so I walked to a quiet place and called. The person who answered kept asking me to repeat that I had seated myself and questioning that I couldn't find an employee. I was told that the 8:20 showing didn't seat until around 8:40pm. So apparently it's my fault for 1) not knowing that 8:20 meant 8:40 and 2) seating myself in the correct theater during the time on my paid ticket.
I'm hoping Fandango will give me a refund, because I was really excited to watch the movie and it's a bummer that I paid $14 and all I got to see was the last...
