The Rockton House — Restaurant in City of Amsterdam

Ordered a total of •[75 Chicken Wings]• from 'Rockton House' for a Family SuperBowl Party_[2024]. These 75 Wings were ordered with 3 different Wing Sauces_ _Hot..Medium..&..Mild. Also, the entire order of Wings, were to be made crispy. My review of this Food Experience has 3-parts... Firstly, a little advice Never order Crispy Wings. Because if the people in the kitchen screw up, just like the kitchen people did at 'Rockton House', you receive wings where the meat is Dry & Hard. Secondly, the flavors and taste coming from the 3 Chicken Wing Sauces were just Fine. Personally, the 'Hot' Wing Sauce was the best out of the three sauces but should've been spicier. Lastly, after adding up all the Ups & Downs regarding these 75 SuperBowl Wings from 'The Rockton House'...I'd advise 'NOT' to order Wings from this place. These Wings were hard & dry and covered in a sauce that was just fine. Heads-Ups I might be a little Biased against Rockton House Chicken Wings because a few Christmas's ago, I ordered Wings from 'Rockton House', and what I received was an absolutely terrible case "Food Poisoning". I was completely sick and out of it for Christmas that year. To this day, I still remember it like it just happened. "Me" Christmas Eve, running as fast as I could, trying to make my way out of the church before I throw up in the Church pew during Christmas Eve Mass.

I have been coming here for a few years and the food has always been great. Today, I placed an order for pickup and the two employees who were working the kitchen did not have any gloves on. One of the employees was cutting onions on the slicer and picking them up with his bare hands. The other employee was making a sandwich with bare hands. I asked if the owner was there and they said no. I asked for a manager and th employee tells me he is thr manager. I express my concern to him and his response is that he usually wears gloves. So dissappointing that a place with such good food has employees that don't prepare food in a safe and...

When you ask for an old fashioned and get the excuse that they don't have the necessities to make one, it is either a poorly stocked bar or a lazy bartender. I order a small pizza and wings for myself. The cheese had zero pull, which to me screams frozen product. Just because you throw some tomato on a pizza doesn't make it a Margherita. The honey hot I wings I ordered were nicely cooked but lacked the honey flavor. Overall, it wouldn't be my first...
